AAfter hearing Chardonnay, Merlot and Chianti yelled at three children running amok in Asda, nothing surprises me.
I'm reliably informed there's a child up the road called Hesperus Mermaid whose baby brother is called Foster Carling........ Poor little things hmm

It's not a name. It's a family nickname. You need to read the thread. Well, at least at the beginning.

Oh my gosh! others were not listening properly either

"Talking of beetroot, I was served a 'golden' beetroot fritter yesterday. I didn't know they existed, but golden it was and tasted just like beetroot."

How very disappointing!

Good publicity! I wouldn't have watched the programme on catch up had it not been for this thread.

Obsessive cleaning is not my thing grin

I knew two old men in the 1950s called Friend and Young Nipper and those were their registered names/

Dogs, not twin babies, named Cash and Carry!

If you want beetroot that don't taste like beetroot feetlebaum, then you need to grow the Italian pink stripy ones called 'chioggia'. They are delicious and far more subtle. Sadly the mice think so, too.
