Not " classically" good looking, but attractive nevertheless.

Was watching Harry Potter last night with the weans, and it reinforced my opinion that Alan Rickman is a very attractive man. This also applies to Gordon Ramsay ( in my opinion) . For women, I think Zoe Wannamaker is an attractive woman.

. Who are your " mibbe not classic, but they ring my bell" people?

Ooh. ooh! The 'wiggly' (her word) face of Daisy Haggard does it for me too!

janeainsworth Tue 08-Dec-15 08:44:09

Yes feetle and that Julian Rhind-Tutt who played opposite her in that hospital sit-com the name of which now escapes me.
Sexy name, sexy guy wink

feetlebaum Tue 08-Dec-15 08:28:25

I find myself attracted to Tamsin Greig - although I think the cool voice may well play its part...

Falconbird Tue 08-Dec-15 07:43:12

Denholm Elliott and Joanna Lumley.

NanKate Tue 08-Dec-15 07:37:02

Philip Glenister
And I will share Professor Brian Cox with Jane grin

I like Henning Wehn, the German comedian from Would I Lie To You and Mock the Week, not classically good looking but very funny and charasmatic. But then I'd rather have someone who can make me laugh any day over anyone else. grin

Professor Brian Cox blush
oh and Jim Broadbent smile

Margsus Mon 07-Dec-15 22:35:20

Oh yes, definitely Noel Fitzpatrick every time!

starbird Mon 07-Dec-15 21:30:17

And of course Noel Fitzpatrick for his love of dogs (and cats etc) melts my heart.

I always think Jo Brand has a lovely face - nice cheekbones and beautiful lips . Bill Nighy's got that gorgeous crumpled look .

Greyduster Mon 07-Dec-15 16:16:20

Not Charles Fox! Edward Fox!!

Greyduster Mon 07-Dec-15 16:13:36

Robert Bathurst (very cuddly face!)
The late John Thaw
Charles Fox (love his cut glass accent)

annodomini Mon 07-Dec-15 12:17:58

Oh dear - fingers getting tangled. amny many.

annodomini Mon 07-Dec-15 12:17:09

Among actresses, Katharine Hepburn stands out. Not a classic beauty, she had superb bone structure; her intelligence and personality shone through in amny diverse roles.

I think teeth are awfully important. Axl Rose wins on that score in my book.

But my secret drool is Alec Baldwin, perhaps in his thinner days, though (but who am I to talk?).

There used to be a site called provocateuse.com which seems to have disappeared, which listed lots of nice-looking men with pictures sorted according to your preference. Emphasis on hands, feet, with glasses, and wet.

Attractive women? Rachel Riley.

Anniebach Mon 07-Dec-15 11:13:58

Voices do it for me

Jayh Mon 07-Dec-15 11:03:43

Oh yes, Harvey Keitel I had forgotten him. Alan Rickman IS wonderfully repellent- I am blushing now.
I also had a thing about the younger Neil Pearson in 'Between the Lines'
and Harrison Ford as Han Solo.
So many men so little time .........?

This is good chat for the wee small hours. I used to like listening to the journalist Anthony Howard, but he wasn't at all handsome. Now I'm excited by Roger Johnson on BBC North West. Poor, handsome Roger, blush exciting an old lady.

Grandma2213 Mon 07-Dec-15 01:43:22

Had to google Alan Rickman and still have no idea who he is. Must pay attention!

I know I am sad but I find (Professor) Brian Cox very attractive. DS says he is a nerd. I say I am attracted to his brain (but his bum is rather nice too - sorry for lowering the tone!)

feetlebaum yes Alex Kingston is gorgeous.

I also melt at the voice of Robert Winston another professor. Is there a pattern developing here? wink

Sam Elliott usually appears in westerns like him better with short hair

Riverwalk Sun 06-Dec-15 16:17:32

Just Googled him - a mere 76!

Riverwalk Sun 06-Dec-15 16:14:11

Thank you Lona!

Yes, Harvey Keitel - very handsome in a certain sort of way wink

Greyduster Sun 06-Dec-15 16:12:11

Riverwalkgrin

Lona Sun 06-Dec-15 15:44:55

Keitel?

Riverwalk Sun 06-Dec-15 15:39:33

I'm having a serious senior moment here. I love Harvey wotsit - you know, the not typically handsome guy in that Quention Tarantino film.

I'm determined not to Google, so am thinking of all the Harveys in the world:

Harvey Goldsmith
Harvey Smith
Harvey Wildenstein
Harvey Nichols
Harvey Wallbanger
Harvey Proctor(!)

He's a bit pock-marked and very attractive.

Oh, gawd I'm getting old!
