.I thought my stomach was in my tummy.

What has made you embarrassed?

Thought you meant the real thing, though twenty four hours would be a record even for the NHS.

Yep. My DH too. grin

^"the crib cage" Grannygrunt123 Is that a new name for the womb? grin

jinglbellsfrocks Sat 03-Sep-16 18:49:05

Uterus!!! You can't call it a womb in 2016!

jinglbellsfrocks Sat 03-Sep-16 18:49:36

Hate the word 'womb'.

I too had always thought tummy and stomach were the same thing.

I must admit I didn't think that the stomach was that high up, but when you get a 'tummyache' or 'stomach ache' it's usually lower down and everyone (even doctors!) know what you mean.

I certainly wouldn't be embarrassed by not knowing exactly where my actual stomach was.

Reading through this has given me a good "belly " laugh! grin

It just wouldn't be the same if we called it a stomach laugh or tummy laugh.

I say Tummy

jinglbellsfrocks Sat 03-Sep-16 19:29:39

Anya! I've just 'got' what you meant by the through jingl thing! I thought it was a typo. hmm

Cheeky mare! hmm

I think I may be a bit slow on the uptake sometimes.

Actually, it would have worked better if you had done it like this:

through jingl

When you get the stomach ache it is your guts (intestines) that are probably hurting!

I've just done a basic first aid course and your heart is basically between your nipples (if you have pert boobs (or none!) but if your boobs are round your waist then probably look behind your ears!)

Ana Sun 04-Sep-16 17:17:01

Brings a whole new meaning to the phrase 'my heart was in my mouth'...confused
