What does everyone make of the latest Meghan and Harry ?

Jomarie Sat 25-Jul-20 20:42:39

Had completely forgotten about them !! Have been unwittingly and unintentionally caught up with the antics of Johnny and Amber - tried hard not to get involved but somehow found myself reading a little more each day !!! grin
Reminder to self : must get a life grin

the latest Meghan and Harry

I didn't realise there were new versions!

NfkDumpling Sat 25-Jul-20 20:51:44

Oh, you mean the drone trying to take photos of their sprog? Surely if they can’t afford good security officers who can shoot straight, Harry could have shot it down?

Anniebach Sat 25-Jul-20 21:10:07

So sad, she gave up her entire life for that family,

reminds me of the squidgy tapes, - ‘all I have done for that f*****g family ‘

Calendargirl Sat 25-Jul-20 21:22:08

Well, the book’s out soon isn’t it, or has it already been published?

Bit more publicity beforehand.

sodapop Sat 25-Jul-20 21:31:32

The book has already been reduced to £13.

More so called news items to skip past as well as Depp & Heard.

Bluebellwould Sat 25-Jul-20 21:36:13

No it’s the releases in the Times and copied everywhere else that I’m talking about. H and M’s side of the story. Some of the claims are mind boggling, like they would overtake the rest of the RF in popularity, they thought they weren’t given enough priority jobs etc etc ad nauseum.

Anniebach Sat 25-Jul-20 21:42:03

They should have been included in the small procession into
Westminster Abbey, the Queen, Charles & Camilla, William
and Kate. But they had to sit waiting with Edward and Sophie.

merlotgran Sat 25-Jul-20 21:42:33

H&M are now distancing themselves from the book.

Somebody must have tipped them off that nobody's going to buy it.

Anniebach Sat 25-Jul-20 21:44:15

Surely as they were not involved with the writing of the book
and their permission not given , they will sue ?

merlotgran Sat 25-Jul-20 21:49:35

Somebody should sue for the title alone:

Finding Freedom... Harry and Meghan and the Making of a Modern Royal Family.

Yer What?? grin

Jane43 Sat 25-Jul-20 21:54:29

I feel very sad for Harry. He could never forgive his father for his infidelity and has a distorted view of what happened to his mother. He really needed stability with a loving partner but the couple seem to lurch from one drama and law suit to the next. This book will do much more harm than good, to refer to royal duties as ‘roles‘ and to express anger at their lack of ‘leading roles’ is unfathomable and deluded. I fear this will end very, very badly for Harry and his son.

EllanVannin Sat 25-Jul-20 22:14:18

They'll be able to live off the amounts that they sue everyone for. Is this their lives ?
Forever on front pages for all the wrong reasons.

Blinko Sat 25-Jul-20 22:20:25

Maybe H is beginning to see the wisdom of his Grandmother's wise words - Never complain; never explain.

Anniebach Sat 25-Jul-20 22:23:53

Harry can’t forgive his father but takes his money

To be fair that’s standard practice

Calendargirl Sun 26-Jul-20 07:35:32

Well, Diana originally denied anything to do with the writing of the Andrew Morton book didn’t she?

When FF turns out to be a best seller also, M&H will suddenly remember they chatted to the authors.

????

BlueBelle Sun 26-Jul-20 07:57:00

Oh can’t anyone leave them alone it’s so blooming boring I m glad they left U.K. with all the miserable vitriol but poor buggers are no better off over there.
PThey should have gone off to some remote part of Africa and done some humanitarian work which they both seem to enjoy and get away from all the nastiness perhaps they will when Archies older
Just leave them alone none of our business what they do

EllanVannin Sun 26-Jul-20 07:59:45

What a pair of moaning Minnies !

Gingster Sun 26-Jul-20 08:13:56

I feel the same Bluebell . Leave them alone. They ve. Made their choice. Up to them what they do.

lovebeigecardigans1955 Sun 26-Jul-20 08:21:30

Hang on a minute, they thought they weren't given enough priority jobs yet they chose to step down? That's not logical, is it?
In some ways I feel a bit sorry for them. They didn't want to be 'top-tier' Royals (which they aren't anyway as Harry's the 'spare') and thought life would be better in the USA but now the paparazzi are worse.
I can't help thinking that if they'd bitten their tongues and stayed in the RF the security offered would have been better. They wouldn't have raised eyebrows and lost respect but they made their choice publicly and are living with the consequences.

eazybee Sun 26-Jul-20 08:30:01

Sorry BlueBell, misjudged you; didn't realise the thread had been started by Blurbellwould , (Freudian slip there: Bluebellwould).
Having apologised to BlueBell, down to business; If H & M want privacy why do they keep issuing statements either concerning themselves or threaten to sue 'invasive' press coverage, knowing said items will immediately become high profile news?
Harry is truly his mother's legacy, increasingly practised at lying being economical with the truth.

harrigran Sun 26-Jul-20 10:37:10

DH does not have any interest in celebrities or the comings and goings of royalty but said to me the other day " have you noticed that every time the Queen or another member of the royal family has a birthday or is attending somewhere then up pops MM with a story to eclipse the news article" ?
That is deliberate manipulation of the press, she even made the front page on Prince George's birthday, not an attractive trait.

Lollin Sun 26-Jul-20 11:58:24

For years I've thought is it the media that really shapes public opinion on everything and I must say my thoughts on the subject have only been reinforced. They do an excellent job at keeping going.
