Good morning all from a misty Glasgow. I spoke too soon yesterday, I had the nightmares last night!? It involved all the goings on on GN yesterday. I need to get a life!!
Susan, I posted on Soops Kitchen about wee Henry. He is such a cutie, then the post disappeared. Just remember that photo of my big strapping son to give you hope!?
I did make it to Sainsbury's yesterday and it was much busier than expected. I found myself getting quite anxious, trying to keep my distance. The worst offender was my husband with other shoppers!!!
I had a sortie into the clothes part and did indeed buy essentials, pyjamas. I usually have a stash of new ones for the times I have to go into to hospital, but the stash has been badly depleted during lockdown. I have become obsessed with the need to stock up again! Shielding has definitely had an adverse effect on me. I was never interested in that type of clothes shopping. ?
I'm off to do battle personally with the pharmacy over the missing medication. I was going to drive myself, (confidence boosting) , but I have a really painful shoulder, so DH will have to drive. Its too complicated to change pharmacies, before anyone suggests that.
The missing meds were supposed to come in on Monday, but I waited until yesterday afternoon to phone, to give it plenty time.
Unfortunately I got the crabbit ( very bad tempered) dispenser again.
Me: I'm calling to check if my missing prescriptions are ready.
Dispenser: What missing medication?
The one which were missing on Friday
There were 13 prescriptions, some with only very small amounts dispensed and some missing.
You have to give us enough time to get them
I ordered them, eleven days ago!
Huge sigh! How many are missing? Another huge sigh
I would appreciate if you could please check.
Sigh, I will need to look it up!!
So the conversation continued, me using my conciliatory, dealing with difficult parent, teacher voice.
I said I would come over ( to the next town) this morning.
I thought someone usually picks your medication up for you, as you have been sheilding.
I know, but my SIL is on honeymoon and you won't deliver.
Don't come in the morning, too risky for you!!!! .
So I shall plant a fixed smile on my face, hand over some chocolates, and thank them for all their hard work in these difficult times.
Life was so much easier when I was working! ?
Wishing you all a pleasant day and for those struggling at the moment, virtual hugs.
