Good Morning Everyone,
Its dark, wet and windy here in Brackley this morning.
Very easy going day for me , watch TV maybe London Marathon , have lunch and then watch the Giro this afternoon, and hope the weather improves later .
Take Care ,
Mick

mrswoo I am still hurkle-durkling having my third bucket of coffee watching tv in bed. Well it is Sunday. Smell of roasting chicken drifting up the stairs.
Lilactime hope your colleague recovers soon.
Urm your Covid warriors seem to be taking it in their stride.
Be safe all

Oh my I am so late today. Good Afternoon from East Staffordshire, the sun is out and thankfully due to getting a negative result on my DGS Covid test I can go out for a walk later. I didn’t sleep at all last night, DD and DGS were here isolating awaiting results and DD was up most of the night with sickness and DGS was also awake with his cold and temperature.
I got to sleep at 7.45 am and have just got up. DD and DGS have gone home to see Daddy before he goes away for work next week, DH has gone out on a run and I am cleaning up after my whirlwind of a DD has left my house. I have no idea how I raised such a messy young lady?
Take care everyone and stay safe.

It's been raining here for 2 days or so. DD phones from Oxford to say the she had been up since 8 a.m. helping neighbours to scoop backed up drains water out of their basements - ankle deep , nice !! No, the fire brigade no longer help domestic floods with pumps and men, sorry . Best contact your council - who of course don't function on Sundays so you're on your own with flooded basements in Oxford !! Social distancing out of the question there today as chain gangs of neighbours wake up to help each other - a quiet day of virtual Church, roast dinners an dreading the paper by the fire sounds bliss !! Count your blessings any grumblers out there - and, sadly, there seem to be plenty of those among our silver haired generation! Cheer up - you good be bucketing out drain water rather than sitting by the fire !

Just popped back in again to see what I've missed. And it's hurkle-durkling! How I absolutely love that, Mrs Woo! I'm going to use it as often as I can, so for me it translates into "lounging around in my PJs with an extra large mug of coffee when I should be getting on with things". How glad I am I popped back in!

Glad your DGS got a negative result Scentia, that is such a relief for you all. I have just received an email from one of my tai chi ladies to tell me that her DD has tested positive and that she (my lady) had been with her on Tuesday prior to coming to class on Thursday. Her group is only small - five people - but I obviously go to all classes which is something like 36 people. What to do now? Urgh. Sorry if that sounds like moaning to you Blacksheep - it's really just a little steam escaping from a vent.

Stay safe all ?
