Emily Wilding Davison in Carlisle Park, Morpeth. Her family came from Morpeth and her widowed mother owned a confectioners in nearby LongHorsley. She is buried in the family grave.
Mary Barbour statue in Govan. She led a rent strike there in 1915 after landlords raised the rents for workers. The protests forced a change in the law with the introduction of the Rent Restrictions Act.

Alice Hawkins, a suffragette who’s statue is in the centre of Leicester. Alice was a shoe and boot factory worker . She joined the suffragettes in London and imprisoned for her beliefs.
Really loved the statue of Boudicca Queen of the Iceni, complete with chariot and horse, which I often passed when I was working in London. An original trail blazer for "The Only Way is Essex" as many Romans residing in Colchester found out!
