Good Morning Everyone,
Its a twilight start with signs of rain earlier here in brackley.
Today for me one last trip on the bus to Bicester this side of my operation.
I have later around early afternoon got to ring the Churchill Hospital for my admission time on Monday.
Today and tomorrow will be last opportunity to eat solid food such as my favourite take aways before liquids on Sunday .
Take Care,
Mick

A late good morning, Michael and all GNs. Wyllow has given you our weather here in South Yorkshire - hoping it might brighten up a bit as we go on. I sat in with a poetry group at the library yesterday, just to see if it might be something I would like to do, and I enjoyed it. They are a very inclusive, welcoming group (much relief) and very far from stuffy. I think I shall go again. It’s time for me to up my game and find new things to do on my own after being a part of “team Duster” for so long. Today is a domestics day.
Enjoy whatever you’re doing today, folks. May you have sunshine.

Good morning Mick and all. Today I shall post first and read later as I have spent the past hour trying to sort out when we can do tai chi on the beach this year ...... it's a long story! Anyway the washing is waiting to be hung out now and the dentist is also waiting for me this morning so not long to spend on here.
Tai chi yesterday was its usual lovely self and then I went straight from there to my hairdresser (an hour's drive away) followed by coffee and a sticky bun with my niece and great-niece. A lovely day. While I was with them I was introduced to a young Ukrainian mum who, along with her two children, has been given a home with some local people. You hear all the stories of course, but to actually speak with someone who is suffering through this wicked war brings it truly home. There was such a sadness and a loneliness coming off her - her family is out there, and her husband is there fighting. I think it was mumofbadboys on here who took in a family of four? I realise now just what a wonderful thing she and her husband did - I thought so at the time and now I feel I know.
Now, the washing line beckons - though I fear there's little drouth as it's overcast and the water is like a millpond today. Actually, it's forecast to rise to the giddy heights of 11° later!
Have a good day everybody x

Good morning from a wet and dreary day in Essex by the sea.
DH has gone to have his hair cut and then to his boat to do who knows what.
I hope your daughter feels better soon Gingster, a day spent with Mum will do her good.
Taichinan, one of our neighbours is Ukranian, his parents still live there and his brother has been called up to fight. I can see the sadness in his face and feel very sorry for him.
Here's hoping that Friday is a good day for all xx

Good morning everyone. It’s a mild 10°C in my corner of Lancashire and the sun is peeking through the clouds. Today will be catching up with the house work and physio exercises. I have promised MrB a slow cooker curry for dinner tonight. I love hot spicy food but can’t eat it too often. Have a good day all 🦩🦩

Good morning all from bright Harrogate.
Yes Mick take care, it would be a shame to miss this op because you have an infection!
Have you got a ‘move date’ yet *GrandMattie?
Your DD is lucky she has you for support Gingster
I’ve been reading the ‘woke’ nonsense that Oxfam wants its staff to use. I am no longer a deaf woman (no I haven’t been cured) I am a person with hearing impairment!
Yesterday was taken up by someone trying to persuade us our door needs changing, no they don’t replace handles just the door! Hmm. That makes it an expensive door handle!
Today we are taking the bus to Otley where it is one of its market days
Have the best day possible folks

hollysteers Fri 17-Mar-23 10:19:55

Good morning Mick and all from Sunnyside northwest coast.
Nice trip to Ulverston and Cartmel yesterday although the weather wasn’t good. I visited the Laurel and Hardy museum in Ulverston, Stan Laurel’s birthplace and the film running reminded me how I loved watching their films with the DC when they were little. Happy days.
Cartmel was lovely and has some very interesting individual shops.
So tired today after cramp in the night and the singing the night before before the early start day trip have tired me. Such a nuisance not to have the stamina I used to have…
Thinking of you and your daughter Gingster💕, hope your day works out well GM and thoughts to anyone with worries on St.Patrick’s Day.

Somehow or other I managed to press “report” on hollysteers post !!! This was totally an accident and am so sorry. I don’t know how to undo this.

We have an arrangement when I am upstairs and don’t want to venture downstairs again ( due to ongoing balance problem!) I send him an emoji. So far , it’s been a spider, drink, or 😢!

He never looks at his phone!
We have Alexa in all the rooms, so that I can call foŕ help. The only room without Alexa, is of course DH's study!
He is a lost cause.
