I hope this new kitchen continues to provide friendship and comfort to all of us who wander in. I know we are all grateful to soop for welcoming us. Now it’s our turn to return the favour, plump up the cushions, replenish the cake tin and await her return.

I’ll pin up some bunting in readiness.... it’s always so cheery isn’t it?

Soop has just phoned me. Groggy, but ok. I will be back later with an update.

I haven’t been in the kitchen for ages (life has been a bit sad, so I’ve been a hermit) but have been following and have been thinking about the beautiful, warm hearted soop today. I do hope the hospital is looking after her like royalty and that she has a comfortable. MacS look after yourself too. I will pop back later to update.
Meantime, shortbread triangles made in my special thistle press and Madeira cake. my best wishes to all you grans.
