has anyone seen anything more shambolic than this evenings press conference?

DH could not get the powerpoint slides at all. I had the slides, but the slides I could see were always one behind the slide the speaker was talking to and anyway the signer was frequently standing in front of the slide so that I was unable to see the most important part of the curve.

Whether the problem lay with the BBC or the government press office, I do not know, but my money is on the government, given there track record.

Apparently it had to be a brief ‘briefing’ because the BBC refused to let it interrupt their Saturday Schedules!

BUT......BBC were waiting for this from 5 pm nards and were having to 'fill in' for nearly two hours.

Just to ensure that people are aware that this lockdown starts at one minute past Wednesday midnight. Like all else in this, it is confusing information and a lot of people seem to think that it will not actually commence until after Thursday.
That is not the case, we have Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and then Lockdown.
