Good morning, Monday again!!! Its the Blaydon races today.

Hope you all had a good week, I am just enjoying the peace and quiet before the family all return from Centre Parcs.

Monday again - and I've got through the day with healthy eating. Had some lovely strawberries from the allotment, with natural yogurt, for desert tonight.
Good luck everyone.

Well, the wedding I'm going to is now in two weeks time. I can get into the clothes I'm planning on wearing but they don't fit me in the way they were intended to as, as usual, all of the weight has gone onto my hips and thighs and I'm not going to shift that in 2 weeks sad. Very annoyed with myself.

HUGE HURRAH ! No only do I have a fabulous new job , but it involves walking to the station and to work the other end . It has already made a difference to my weight/shape and I am feeling massively better in myself. Do hope this enthusiasm lasts - it makes eating healthy food in reasonable portions a positive joy !

nanabelle I love soft fruit especially home grown smile
tegan in 2 weeks you could see a big difference, go on give it all you have got, and if the outfit fits thats half the battle. Drink plenty of water, cut out the carbs and eat fish and veg and in two weeks you will see marked change smile
grannyK congratulations on your new job wine flowers sunshine walking is the best form of exercise you can do smile

Was feeling a bit despondent yesterday but put some jeans on today that had been in the wash and would have been quite tight and they feel ok so just off to the gym again now. Have got a regime of eggy bread [2 eggs plus milk; 2 1/2 slices of bread] which keeps me really full till teatime which is salmon salad plus a banana and orange each day. Of course, the nice weather helps. Still annoyed that I let myself slip for several weeks, though.

12st 3lbs today. Up and down like a yoyo! The earlier I weigh in the morning, the lighter I am! hmm

tegan just focus and you will be fine, think the weather is going to be ok for a few days.

I have lost 2lb so pleased with that as I was out to eat on Sat night but had
fish.

I felt really great today and spent ages at the gym; then I tried some clothes on in Tescos and felt horribly fat. That'll serve me right for going to Tescos [I hate the place but have to use their car park for the gym]. I'm at the dentist tomorrow so probably won't be able to eat later in the day anyway shock.

Tegan I went to the dentist too this week for a filling replacement and have had toothache ever since (none before!). It hasn't really stopped me wanting to eat though! Sunday evening now and I have managed the whole week, just the odd glass of wine at a family picnic and a g and t today! But no carbs (except fruit), no choc, no cake (even though I made a lovely one for the picnic). Weight in tomorrow morning.
Good luck everyone.

I've actually put my scales away and I'm not going to use them. I've gone to the gym most days and the clothes that were tight on me now fit. If I get on the scales I think I'll feel depressed and want to eat. I'm sticking with two healthy meals a day with an orange and a banana at other times in the day. Next week [the week before the wedding] I'm going to cut out bread. I do feel much much better, and it's the daily workouts that have done it. I hope I can fit in trips to the gym next week as I have a lot to do. The trip to the dentist was ok [no fillings needed smile]. Bought a couple of bikinis today as I want to go somewhere hot next year. Ok my thighs still look massive with cellulite and thread veins but I'm 62 so who the hell is going to look at me anyway hmm. One plus of getting old methinks.
