Thank you for the answers I'm not on here much so finding my way around I didn't,remember where to look for this post. I carnt really do much at the moment as im waiting for a operation on my shoulder, and suffer with osteoarthritis so i carnt walk to much. Ive been divorced for 6years I find it very lonely living alone,i have one close friend but she has teenagers at home still. Sad

GlammakAZ59 are you asking a more general question about to meet people in your area. The usual answer is to join clubs, sports, leisure interests. It isn't easy. Have a look in your library for local information- it really depends on what interests you and what area you live in. Can you give us some clues?

As far as i am aware, if you go on forums and then meet up, anything which has been arranged will be listed on there. If you don't bind anything close to you pop something on. I bet there will be someone living in your local area

Depends where you live I expect. Various get togethers are organised by GN members. Someone makes a suggestion and others seem to join in.
Its not a formal GN thing though. Also there's GN local sites but some aren't very active.
