With a gaping vacuum at the centre and no party speaking to the disaffected working class how much of a threat is UKIP.

I know, which is why people like Arron Banks supports Ukip. Hedge fund managers and some other financiers stand to make huge amounts of money from the relaxation of EU rules. After 2008, the US tightened up regulations on them, whereas the EU were quite gentle with the banks (as we know, they even used QE to support them) but tightened up regulations on other forms of finance. The UK is fast becoming a tax haven itself. The EU was trying to stop that happening. However, they need a people's army to vote for them and a propaganda sheet (published by a porn magnate) for marketing.
