Oh joy! Oh wonder! Tony effing Blair is trying to get on the Remoaner train to derail Brexit. "The PM's a lightweight and Corbyn's a nutter so I'm back".

How jolly! Everyone will be so pleased. We love you, Tony. [fingers down throat emoji]

Since it goes without saying really, that any MP's are not trusting, I think you are right ww and I don't think that they had much of a choice, given that they voted themselves to hold a referendum, and they know they have to honour the outcome.

So, this probably IS the best way forward.

Carswell is beginning to sound as mad as a hatter.

Must be the company he's been keeping.
There's an excellent article in today's i by Kim Sengupta saying that Farage undermines the right even as he seeks to promote it.
He sees himself as a key player in shaping the destiny of Europe, but as long as he carries on interfering, that's okay for the EU. Nigel might be the EU's secret weapon.

Your link is just to sign in to facebook, Welshwife. I'd rather not. Can you give us a different link?

Welshwife Thu 08-Dec-16 22:03:00

Will have another go and see if I can copy etc the actual piece.

Welshwife Thu 08-Dec-16 22:08:40

Hopefully you will be able to see this

durhamjen Thu 08-Dec-16 22:12:49

Yes, Welshwife, thanks.
Very interesting. How come MPs don't knowe that? Like you say, they must be frightened for their seats.
My MP isn't as she said she was standing down before the referendum. I might send her a copy and ask her views.

I have seen this section of the bill before and have been very surprised as to why it has seemingly been ignored! The whole thing is odd the way it is panning out.

The Labour MP's were not taken in by anyone, and not a trusting bunch

"THE European Union should aim to keep as close a relationship with Britain as possible after Brexit, German Economy Minister Sigmar Gabriel has said."

Express newspaper.

The EU is going ahead with a proposal to allow UK citizens 'associate EU membership' (whatever that mean in practice).
