Well it's all over the papers now. Harry and Meghan are moving out of Kensington Palace. There seems to be a personality clash between Meghan and Kate. It must be hard for Willian and Harry who are very close, and it's sad this has happened so soon after the wedding. I hope they can resolve their differences.

They have found a solution. End of problem. I'm sure they are all wise enough to be civil when together.

All over what papers? Do not believe everything you read in the downmarket tabloids.

Fennel Sun 02-Dec-18 16:53:07

For Goodness' sake ( or God's sake) leave them alone.

crystaltipps Sun 02-Dec-18 16:53:23

Couples live in separate homes ! shock horror!

Anniebach Sun 02-Dec-18 17:03:08

There is some truth in the reports, her P.A, quite after only 6 months in the post, and some staff have quite because she likes to text when she is up early for yoga, I wouldn’t want to have text at 5.00am

Another report is they wanted Frogmore so her mother can have her own wing.

Another report, Harry has informed all ‘what Megan wants Megan gets’.

I think William is far to sensible a man to be concerned with what the press reports.

BlueBelle Sun 02-Dec-18 17:03:15

Oh do leave it alone it’s all gossip gossip gossip No one knows what’s what and papers and other media are just there to stir up the minions Let it lie

merlotgran Sun 02-Dec-18 17:09:38

There's no need to be so bossy, BlueBelle.

Anniebach Sun 02-Dec-18 17:39:50

We can chat about celebrities, verbally attack politicians yet the royal are not to be chatted about, why?

MaizieD Sun 02-Dec-18 17:50:35

If you want to chat about completely unimportant people why don't you do it on the Chat forum? It's not News and it's not Politics. It's gossip.

Hear hear, BlueBelle

Anniebach Sun 02-Dec-18 17:55:25

But they are important to some Maizie else why would many knit baby clothes for Windsor babies . And it is in the newspapers ?

crystaltipps Sun 02-Dec-18 17:58:48

And we all believe everything in the newspapers ?

Anniebach Sun 02-Dec-18 18:17:58

The date ?

EllanVannin Sun 02-Dec-18 18:31:52

I also noticed the hysterics about Andrews past " dalliances " are appearing in dribs and drabs now that he and his ex.Fergie are putting aside their differences. Don't the press just love it ? Sadly it's what sells papers, the more gutter press sold the better .

What started the Meghan bit off was when her step-sister? made an appearance here, and hasn't the brother been crowing too ? Families,eh ? Some just don't like to see others getting on.

Anniebach Sun 02-Dec-18 18:37:32

I forgot another report

They are moving to Frogmore because Megan is very friendly with Eugenie

merlotgran Sun 02-Dec-18 19:08:22

When I first joined gransnet I'm sure there was a thread called 'In the News' and a separate one called 'Politics'. I wish we could go back to that because there's a lot of news that has nothing to do with politics and not every news item is a serious subject.

It's not a hanging offence to post on a thread that somebody else might think is inappropriate.

Anniebach Sun 02-Dec-18 19:16:28

Well said merlot.

Barmeyoldbat Sun 02-Dec-18 21:50:20

Does it matter? Like many othe4 people they need a bigger house. .

MiniMoon Sun 02-Dec-18 22:30:35

Although I like them both in small doses, I wouldn't like to live next door to either of my Sister's-in- law. I would hate having a connecting door between our properties.
A clash of personalities is nothing to make a big thing of. It happens a lot in extended families.

Anniebach Sun 02-Dec-18 22:35:22

I suggested that News and Politics could be separated a while ago but got short shrift - from other gransnetters, not GNHQ.
DH and SisIL thought it might be a good idea for us all to run a pub many years ago. DB and I just looked at each other in horror.

MaizieD Mon 03-Dec-18 00:13:38

I suppose it's just a judgement call on what constitutes 'news'.

Some 'royal' stuff can well be counted as 'news' but gossip about a couple of sisters in law who might have had a spat is just that, gossip.

FWIW I don't see that news and politics can be separated because much significant news has a political aspect.

Anyway, I shall shut up now grin Gossip away, ladies...

maryeliza54 Mon 03-Dec-18 00:13:43

Really there aren’t that many threads active at any one time are there? I just look at the title but get a bit irritated when you have to click on to see what the thread is really about. I guessed this one would be about the alleged rifts as it was in News and Politics

paddyann Mon 03-Dec-18 00:56:37

"they need a bigger house ,like many other people" REALLY???What planet do you live on? MILLIONS cant get any house and you think these two deserve a bigger one? I can see there would be a personality clash and I'm not a royal worshipper in fact I'd sack the lot. These women have nothing in common, one worked her socks off in a very competitive business and made some success of it.The other left university and waited around without ever really having a proper job until she snared her prey now the one who worked has to curtsy to the one who hasn't ......how galling to think hard work doesn't pay its all about fluttering eyelashes or bedroom tactics .But hey I'm sure loads of women got their man that way ...most of them would have earned a living though at least for some of their adult life ,how humiliating to depend entirely on someone else for your livliehood .Hardly a feminist is she /

Exactly!
