I am not really interested in converting people. I am not religious or interested in alternatives to religion.
I push labour leaflets through doors and try not to call people stupid.

I always read those leaflets Galaxy you have the right attitude so keep up the good work.
Too much extremism puts voters off all politics.

God help us if Labour get in, I can’t stand Sir Kier Starmer and his deputy ………….. oh no!

I'm sure your horror has been noted on high.

I suspect that many more will stand down when it gets nearer to the GE, ronib. I know they were supposedly given a deadline to declare that they weren't standing again, but the party can't prevent them standing down at a later date. When they've got their next job sorted...

Well you may speculate as you wish but until there’s some hard data, it looks as if most of the rats are staying on this particular ship.

At the moment, ronib, at the moment.

Politico Poll of Polls

Lab 48
Con 27
LibDem 10
Reform 5
Green 4
SNP 3
UKIP 1
Plaid Cymru 1

When you consider that over 80% of UK newspaper readers read the right wing press - Daily Mail, The Sun, The Telegraph, The Daily Express, The Times etc and newspaper readership is the most influential factor in determining voting intentions, it is remarkable that adding the Conservative, Reform and UKIP numbers gives only 33%. Perhaps at long last people are beginning to resist the right wing propaganda.

I suppose that there is only so much that a government can lie and cheat it’s way without the voter refusing any longer to be taken for fools.

Even the almighty Mail can’t gaslight or con it’s readers quite so easily. I see this week it’s been banging it’s drum about the
Labour policy of revisiting the charitable status of public schools.

Not something that over 90% of the population will be exercised by, but imo they have never reached that status looking at the legal definition.

How low will they stoop?
