Has anyone else had a message from this person?

He can sell me gold and also wants me to help him reclaim $14.5m deposited in my country. He'll share it with me but I only get 30% 🙂

Am I the only lucky one?

Delila Fri 16-Dec-22 23:01:49

Yes, I had a similar message from him some weeks ago (November) and I reported it.

Delila Fri 16-Dec-22 23:03:32

A tempting offer though hmm

Delila Fri 16-Dec-22 23:06:15

Actually, my RevChris had only one 1 after his name.

GagaJo Fri 16-Dec-22 23:10:04

Yup.

Perhaps he's got more money to share now 🙂

Yes, I reported it.

I had it this morning. Reported it and blocked her/him. I didn't read the message.

I am feeling excluded. Reverend Chris is ignoring me. Perhaps he knows I’m an atheist.

Smileless2012 Sat 17-Dec-22 11:42:16

Brilliant Sagogrin.

Urmstongran Sat 17-Dec-22 11:43:45

Me too Blossoming!

I got one a while ago that was deleted before I read it so I was most confused

Then I got this one too

Yay me

I did a wee start at the title, it made me think of my old schoolfriend and sometime drinking companion Chris (who was rather flamboyantly gay in the sixth form even though that word was never said out loud, so nobody made much of me drinking with him. (Anybody from King's Lynn here? I'd better lay off some of the more lurid tales just in case anybody recognises who I'm talking about). He surprised everybody when he said he was going to train to be a vicar. Anyway, being of the fiery handbag persuasion with full bells he styled himself Father Chris more often than Rev Chris. I lost touch after he moved to Lynn but he seems to have had a successful career and retired recently as an Hon Canon of Norwich Cathedral.

But this doesn't sound at all like my Chris, who I'm quite sure would have been sound and reliable in all things.

Chocolatelovinggran Sat 17-Dec-22 12:06:51

Oh thank you everyone for making me laugh this morning.. Sago, you'll let us know how much you receive, won't you ?

Greyduster Sat 17-Dec-22 12:08:50

I had two from him; obviously anxious to get his message across!

MawtheMerrier Sat 17-Dec-22 12:12:47

Youngest D’s godfather (also a Chris) has recently retired as a Canon of another cathedral which I won’t name (in case he crosses me off his gold bars list)

Oh, not our friend Chris?
That would be a coincidence!

He didn't mention anything about gold or a fortune waiting for him when I saw him in Tesco recently grin

Delila Sat 17-Dec-22 22:59:58

Greyduster, does that mean you’ll be after a double share of the dosh?

dragonfly46 Sat 17-Dec-22 23:08:05

I got a PM from the rev!
