I didn't know they had gone! I never think to look at them.

kittylester Thu 05-May-16 20:40:48

Thank you - I was on mobile site but changed back to desktop and there it was!

Pittcity Thu 05-May-16 20:15:59

Help, I can't remember how to find mine!

Pittcity Thu 05-May-16 17:17:50

You need to click on the MY GRANDCHILDREN link at the bottom of this page and add your youngest, vivian Then go to your profile and select the show number of grandchildren tick box.

vivianallman Thu 05-May-16 14:27:03

just noticed i hadn't updated my info... i'm 5 years older than when i did it and my youngest grandson is not on.... how do i add him? feeling guilty that he's not there!!!

Charleygirl Wed 18-Nov-15 11:45:14

Pittcity my showbiz age is 29, marginally lower than my real age of 72 and my profile age of 69.

rubysong Wed 18-Nov-15 09:13:24

Instead of putting my age I put 1951 vintage. I realised this from Friends Reunited where my children are probably still teenagers instead of hurtling towards forty which is what they actually are.

Nelliemoser Wed 18-Nov-15 08:54:46

Pittcity I am quite happy not to have my age updated. wink

phoenix Wed 18-Nov-15 08:41:30

Correct, Ana

Pittcity Wed 18-Nov-15 08:19:12

It would be nice to have our age updated automatically, unless ,of course, we are using our showbiz age!

grumppa Tue 17-Nov-15 22:15:58

Good to have it back. I had forgotten I had so little to say about myself. Just one update, to reflect the inevitable passage of time.

Ana Tue 17-Nov-15 22:12:05

So severely that it's non-existent apparently phoenix! hmm

phoenix Tue 17-Nov-15 21:26:12

Due to recent events I've severely edited mine.

Indinana Tue 17-Nov-15 21:23:00

If people blatently look into our house when the lights are on, I rush to the door and ask them if they'd like to come in and have a proper look round. Well, at least, that's what I try to do. The reality is that by the time I've unlocked the door and stuck my head outside they're out of earshot grin
Of course, I try not to be caught doing never do this wink

numberplease Tue 17-Nov-15 17:05:49

Thank you Cari, and all at GNHQ!

jinglbellsfrocks Tue 17-Nov-15 17:03:51

grin

"Enjoy"! Who's being sarky then?! grin #dontblameyou

jollyg Tue 17-Nov-15 17:01:59

Indianana I did ask for an edit button too, but that was rebutted.

It might have saved you some embarassement.

I dont nose just look, and assess, an insight on other folks lives as people do when our lights are on and folk look into the house .

'Tis human nature

CariGransnet (GNHQ) Tue 17-Nov-15 17:01:43

You're right. TBH forgot I even had one. One day, when I have a bit of time <hmmmmm> I will elaborate and add some photos. Of cake. Naturally.

jinglbellsfrocks Tue 17-Nov-15 16:57:40

Should have read 'nothing was to write home about' hmm

jinglbellsfrocks Tue 17-Nov-15 16:56:42

Well! Your profile's nothing to write about Cari! hmm

(Mind you, it's better than mine)

Pittcity Tue 17-Nov-15 16:50:06

I registered my GC when I joined and have never received the "developmental email", so dont let that bit put you off.

Indinana Tue 17-Nov-15 16:07:00

How embarrasing - just noticed both my previous posts start with 'so' blush

Indinana Tue 17-Nov-15 16:04:37

So jollyg all this begging and pleading for profiles to be reinstated is just so you can have a jolly good nose? grin

Indinana Tue 17-Nov-15 16:02:48

So to show the number of GC you have, you have to register them (names, gender, date of birth) and they'll send "regular emails on your grandchildren's development". All this just so the number of GC you have shows up in your profile hmm.
I've never really understood this 'developmental email' thing. How can GN know anything about my GC's development? Do they really mean that they'll send emails indicating the developmental stages I can expect my GC to have reached at any given age? Because if so, that's not the same thing confused
