How silly the Matt storyline is - like the Rob storyline it is OTT. No-one is as villainous as Matt is being portrayed - they have just made him a stereotype of evil and it is ridiculous. I have never met anyone who encapsulates evil to this degree.
Stop it now you crazy scriptwriters and give as some storylines that reflect real life.
Good to hear Joe offering sage advice to both Alistair and Brian. Had Adam and Ian not realised that there could be gossip ahead when/if they become parents? It looks as if they hadn't considered how their putative child might experience school. And I'm surprised Lee apparently doesn't know about Helen and Rob, Susan can't be gossiping hard enough!
Helen needs to get her head out of the sand (again). Henry and Jack's inheritance could be at stake.
I agree about Lee, Elrel. It was all over the national papers and sadly it's not unusual for a village or town to be known for a notorious crime that was committed there.
Suddenly we have a speaking Mia who looks out for Poppy and doesn't want to go to Drayton Manor. Emma was really pushing over the trip. Is Mia going to be having problems via the websites or people she contacting on her phone? How old is she now?
What the heck ? Lily needs to get rid of Russ as soon as possible. He is a freeloader. Wish she'd sort herself out. There must be a local university she could go to.
Can Nigel come out of the shower now? Is it me or does Mia have a very different accent from not only her family but everyone in TA? To me it sounds very rural but more West Country than West Midlands. Also wondering whether Elizabeth should be drinking so much coffee in view of her heart condition. Lily and Russ sound like as if their heading for breakup - good!
Ayjay Ruairi's mother was Irish and called Donovan. Brian had an affair with her and when she died prematurely he brought up Ruairi. Looks like the light's gradually dawning for Lily, it's been a slow burn.
Elrel. Agreed. The weirdly differing accents used by actors in The Archers for characters who are supposedly from the same family has long been a bit of a joke.
Fictional Borsetshire is said to be set in the contiguous counties of Worcestershire and Warwickshire, south of Birmingham in The Midlands.
