Anyone else watching? shock

MawBroon Fri 02-Feb-18 21:59:18

Would somebody like to tell me what is going on? ???

Charleygirl Fri 02-Feb-18 22:04:59

I gave it 20 minutes and had had enough. Weird is one description.

tanith Fri 02-Feb-18 22:12:54

Scary but watchable I'll stick with it .

Grannyknot Fri 02-Feb-18 22:13:51

I like the fact that the youngsters are the Ghostbusters.

paddyann Fri 02-Feb-18 22:16:11

I liked it ,looking forward to the next episode

Grannyknot Fri 02-Feb-18 22:18:27

Paddy the whole series is on iPlayer, so you can make your own schedule smile

Nelliemoser Fri 02-Feb-18 22:32:44

Scary but all the same old drama ncliches. I guessed the celllist was the "lost child" fairly early on.

Maggiemaybe Fri 02-Feb-18 22:43:58

Me too, Nelliemoser. And how strange that it didn’t occur to either Matilda or the police officer. grin

Bathsheba Fri 02-Feb-18 22:45:56

I forgot to watch it angry. So will be watching on catch up tomorrow.

tanith Fri 02-Feb-18 23:19:34

I'm not so sure it's just too obvious I'm wondering if there were twins?

merlotgran Fri 02-Feb-18 23:26:53

I enjoyed it and said right from the beginning, 'She's the girl' which probably means she isn't. confused

So far quite good. I love a good supernatural drama, as long as it’s scary but not too gory.

Grandma2213 Sat 03-Feb-18 00:34:02

I love this sort of programme. I was on the edge of my seat a few times. I too thought it was a bit obvious that she was the child and am looking forward to a 'twist'.

Eloethan Sat 03-Feb-18 01:09:20

I thought it was good and hope it isn't another one that goes downhill after the first episode.

Grannyknot Sat 03-Feb-18 07:29:37

Sometimes I'm just as happy watching because of the beautiful locations. This one ticks that box (well on the drive down to Wales anyway).

On that note - Shetland is back soon.

whitewave Sat 03-Feb-18 07:44:42

I spent a lot of the time watching it between my fingers.

tiredoldwoman Sat 03-Feb-18 07:47:58

I watched it too ! Within 5 minutes I ran to double check that my front door was locked - yikes ! Might watch the whole set on Sunday , during daylight .

Christinefrance Sat 03-Feb-18 08:55:00

I quite enjoyed it, I wonder if there is a twist though as it seems a bit predictable.
I'm looking forward to Shetland as well Grannyknot.

I think I liked it but didn't know what was going on or why she was wearing that strange wig. Cant remember anything about it this morning - must have been the post golf wine!!

Greyduster Sat 03-Feb-18 10:19:25

I didn’t find it particularly scary (and I am susceptible to scary. Woman in Black is very scary!!) and I, too, found her hair really distracting! Don’t think I’ll stay with it.

Mapleleaf Sun 04-Feb-18 22:34:54

I managed 10 minutes and then got fed up with it. Switched over to watch Nigel Slaters new programme instead. Much better!

Tegan2 Sun 04-Feb-18 23:12:57

I started watching it but thought it might freak me out [still haven't got over watching The Living and the Dead last year shock]....

lemongrove Mon 05-Feb-18 11:01:11

It wasn’t bad, a bit typical ghost story ( oh yes, let’s stay in this spooky mansion instead of finding a Travel Lodge!)
Also the hair is distracting ( mainly to us women?) but I will stick with this series anyway.I may have to cover all shiny surfaces in my house first though! ?

MawBroon Mon 05-Feb-18 11:04:24

And “let’s go down into this spooky cellar “with a feeble torch that has appeared from nowhere.
Mind you, it could have been a very short drama if they had gone to the nearest Travel Lodge grin. ? ? ?
