Father Christmas and Me

This Christmas, we're giving you the chance to win the third book in the festive series from number one bestselling author Matt Haig, featuring enchanting illustrations from Chris Mould. We have 15 copies of Father Christmas and Me up for grabs.

Let the battle for Christmas begin.

It isn't always easy, growing up as a human in Elfhelm, even if your adoptive parents are the newly married Father Christmas and Mary Christmas.

For one thing, Elf School can be annoying when you have to sing Christmas songs everyday - even in July - and when you fail all your toy-making tests. Also it can get very, very cold.

But when the jealous Easter Bunny and his rabbit army launch an attack to stop Christmas, it's up to Amelia, her new family and the elves to keep Christmas alive before it's too late...

Matt Haig’s Christmas books have been described by Joanne Harris as "Perfect to read aloud with a child on Christmas Eve" and "Absolutely brilliant" by CBBC. Father Christmas and Me follows on from A Boy Called Christmas and The Girl Who Saved Christmas.

Matt Haig is an internationally acclaimed writer of adult and children’s novels, screenplays and journalism. His first children’s book, Shadow Forest, won the Nestle/Smarties Prize, the Blue Peter Book of the Year Award and eight regional awards. His work has been translated into 29 languages. His 2013 adult novel, The Humans, has sold over 100,000 copies in the UK. He lives in Brighton with writer Andrea Semple and their children Lucas and Pearl.

Chris Mould went to art school at the age of 16. He has won the Nottingham Children's Book Award and been commended by the Sheffield Children's Book Award. He loves his work and likes to write and draw the kind of books that he would have liked to have had on his shelf as a boy. He is married with two children and lives in Yorkshire.

Father Christmas and Me is published by Canongate and is available online and from all good booksellers.
