What are your predictions? I am sure it will be something traditional like Alice or James.

My money's on Victoria Elizabeth or Charles Edward

Gagagran Tue 31-Mar-15 11:03:34

As the Duchess and Her Mum both have Elizabeth as second names (and not forgetting the Queen of course) I think Elizabeth and Diana might both feature if it's a girl. Michael is Kate's Dad so that could feature plus Charles if it's a boy.

Anniebach Tue 31-Mar-15 11:40:46

Edward has a son James and perhaps not two Charles in one family

Alexander Phillip Michael

Alexandra Elizabeth Mary or Elizabeth Mary Victoria , please not Diana

Faraway43 Tue 31-Mar-15 11:45:17

I think Alice Diana Elizabeth

Marmight Tue 31-Mar-15 11:58:05

Alice or Arthur

MrsPickle Tue 31-Mar-15 12:04:20

Elizabeth Ann Mary

Richard Philip Michael

Whatever, the names will be deeply conservative and traditional.

Juliette Tue 31-Mar-15 12:08:04

I thought Arthur too marmight or maybe Albert. I don't think Diana will be in there but perhaps Frances, her second name.

jo1book Tue 31-Mar-15 13:16:23

I think the Stuart and Plantagenet names are unlucky, so I will go for the
Georgian Frederick or the lucky name ol Elizabeth. Rufus or Matilda,Norman names, would be nice but unlikely to be chosen.

EvaCooper Tue 31-Mar-15 13:17:44

John!

Juliette Tue 31-Mar-15 13:35:56

Wasn't John discounted last time because of the unhappy association with the son of George V and Queen Mary?

hildajenniJ Tue 31-Mar-15 13:38:09

What about Edmund for a boy and Georgiana for a girl?

Ana Tue 31-Mar-15 13:40:45

Too confusing - George and Georgiana? [confusing]

Ana Tue 31-Mar-15 13:41:05

confused

hildajenniJ Tue 31-Mar-15 13:41:44

Caroline then!

Ana Tue 31-Mar-15 13:42:13

I think they might go for something a little less traditional this time, but I'm not sure what - will go away and have a think.

Ana Tue 31-Mar-15 13:43:26

I think they'll probably steer clear of anything like 'Carol' at least for the first name! grin

Ana Tue 31-Mar-15 13:49:34

Charlotte? Sophia?

Jane10 Tue 31-Mar-15 13:58:07

Probably not Kylie or Zane though!

NotTooOld Tue 31-Mar-15 14:01:13

Taylor Waynetta for a girl and Ricky Zayn for a boy.

He-he. Only joking. I'll go with the following.

Mary Diana Catherine for a girl and James Arthur Philip for a boy.

Actually, who cares? I used to be a Royalist (I think) but age has changed me.

MrsPickle Tue 31-Mar-15 14:02:30

Good job they didn't go for the current fad of naming babies after the place they were conceived. Otherwise we might have had Prince Bodorgan Aberffraw!

hildajenniJ Tue 31-Mar-15 14:04:23

Oh dear, I wasn't thinking of immediate family, definitely not Caroline!!!
Margaret might feature somewhere.
There hasn't been an Eleanor for a long time! tbusmile

NotTooOld Tue 31-Mar-15 14:05:47

I like it! Even better than Prince Ricky. I'm glad my parents didn't name me for where I was conceived as I think I would be called Uxbridge.

Teetime Tue 31-Mar-15 14:06:04

Beyonce, Kylie or Rhianna I think or possibly Elizabeth somewhere in the name and/or Victoria but hopefully not Daina although they might use one of her other names - was Frances one of those that's quite nice I think.

NotTooOld Tue 31-Mar-15 14:10:30

Teetime - Mmm, Princess Beyoncé has a nice ring to it.
