Anyone else find this a little too creepy, Or am I a big wimp ? Not sure I'll be watching next weekend.

'Are you going to Scarborough fair......' shock

jinglbellsfrocks Sun 23-Nov-14 22:36:39

You're a wimp. It was great. grin

Ana Sun 23-Nov-14 22:36:53

Recorded it, so won't be reading any more comments yet! Sounds good though, I like creepy...

jinglbellsfrocks Sun 23-Nov-14 22:38:25

No! No spoilers!

ninathenana Sun 23-Nov-14 22:41:55

It was the last scene that slightly freaked me.

I'm saying no more.

Greenfinch Sun 23-Nov-14 22:47:45

Me too ! shock

merlotgran Sun 23-Nov-14 22:47:48

I thought it was quite boring.

Deedaa Sun 23-Nov-14 23:05:45

I've got it recorded, hope to get time to watch it tomorrow.

durhamjen Sun 23-Nov-14 23:22:46

I am a wimp as well. In fact, I saw what it was about and thought, not watching that. Does that make me a bigger wimp than you, nina?

Oldgreymare Sun 23-Nov-14 23:39:35

Well! It made me jump (clever editing).

ninathenana Mon 24-Nov-14 00:03:08

Possibly Jen grin

Eloethan Mon 24-Nov-14 01:08:25

I thought it was very atmospheric and definitely creepy.

Teetime Mon 24-Nov-14 07:08:37

I've recorded this to watch today as I had to watch Homeland!!!

kittylester Mon 24-Nov-14 07:17:55

Can I join wimps corner too please? I didn't even like the trailers1

kittylester Mon 24-Nov-14 07:18:30

Wimp's!!!

Marelli Mon 24-Nov-14 07:44:29

I'd been looking forward to it all week. Got my PJ's, fleecy dressing-gown on and got all cosied-up on the recliner. Watched 5 minutes of it and fell asleep shock! I know I'm going to enjoy it, though - especially after reading the above comments. Very fond of Michael Palin. Can anyone remember A Private Function? Liz Smith also starred in that. I remember her excuse for everything was, "Well, I'm 72, you know...." When I watched the programme all those years ago, that seemed quite an age - it doesn't seem so now hmm!

NanKate Mon 24-Nov-14 07:46:08

I'm looking forward to watching it with anticipation - through my fingers of course grin

Teetime I'm glad you are enjoying Homeland I am recording the whole series then can watch a couple of episodes at a time. The first two series where brilliant.

gillybob Mon 24-Nov-14 07:50:49

I was really looking forward to it but have to say I was hugely disappointed. Michael Palin was very good though. Not sure I will bother watching next week.

Brendawymms Mon 24-Nov-14 08:27:48

Why do producers seem to think that everything happens in the dark. I was really looking forward to watching it but got really fed up with having to struggle to see through the gloom. Not sure if I will watch it next week.

Jane10 Mon 24-Nov-14 09:49:45

I`m going to record the whole series then watch during the day in bright sunlight (if any!!)

Lilygran Mon 24-Nov-14 09:59:55

Very creepy. I loved episode one.

posie Mon 24-Nov-14 10:37:38

I'm another Michael Palin fan & he was good but found it as a whole boring & disappointing. Don't think i'll be watching again.

Pittcity Mon 24-Nov-14 15:04:40

I thought it was a bit "Twin Peaks" and hope that all is made clear in future episodes as I was totally confused, frightened and intrigued confused

absentgrandma Mon 24-Nov-14 16:26:58

OH was totally confused. I would have enjoyed it had it not been for him practically leaping off the settee every time something went bang and his frequent interruptions ie...... Where are they now?.... Who's that?...... Why are they at the seaside , I though you said they were in Yorkshire? (well, I wondered that myself). I realised halfway through why I hardly ever get to watch a good drama... and it was good IMO.

I think I'm going to have to hide the remote next week to stand a chance of watching episode 2. Or throw a complete tantrum.

Too scary shock
