SugarPlumFairy re your post on 22nd I do hope things will get better for you and your DDs family what a worry for you is there any way you can convince her to accept the house mentioned ? is she frightened of thinking she has let you down in any way,maybe another member of the family maybe can get a more positve response from her it may be worth a try,I have only just read this new thread and am sorry you have had to wait a while for a response.

MiceElf & Smileless, I had a full wall with photo’s of D, SIL and GC in the lounge. I took them all down, it was too painful. However, I do still have a couple in the hall and one in the kitchen/diner.

MiceElf, sorry your hurting so bad, you never know but you might get to see them again one day. We can only hope, but we need to get on with our own lives, life is too short to be in pain all the time. I hated it when we used to go somewhere we had taken the GC, but now I make positive comments about places, I comment to Hubby, remember when X did this, did that etc, and we have a chuckle.

Went to see Fred MacAullay and Arlene Stuart at a posh school (Loretto, in Musselburgh), last night for a “bit of banter”, absolutely great, he is so funny, didn’t realise he was so short though.

Well I have had a problem with my hip for weeks (hip bursitis (inflammation of the hip bursa), got voltarol cream and co-codamol last week, but it wasn’t working, so had a cortisone injection this morning, will take between 6 - 8 weeks to take effect. Awfully painful .

Evening ladies. My bro 'phoned the hospital this afternoon and was told mum was fine the surgery went well but due to patient confidentiality they couldn't tell him what she'd had done so they can tell him every thing else but not that!! Will have to wait until tomorrow when we go to visit to find out more.

So sorry Celebgran with so much going on with mum I forgot to wish you well for your scan today ; hope every thing was OK.

I think one of the reasons I can't look at photo's of our dear gsYogagirl and Librachick is bec. he was only 8 months old when we last really saw him and he'll have changed so much since then . Apart from brief glimpses I don't really know what he looks like, what his voice sounds like and how he sounds when he laughs. So looking at baby pictures in a way feels like looking at photo's of a stranger. Which I suppose to us he is, and to him we certainly will be.

Hope the injection helps Dollie, hubby had one a few years ago for his back and it was amasing how much relief it gave him.

Hope you've had some positive news regarding the offer of the house for your D SugarPlumFairy; my apologies for not picking up on your post before , don't seem to be 'with it' at the moment .

Legs have been OK today but I've had back ache instead , will have to see how I get on at the gym in the morning. At least I have a lovely massage to look forward too after my work out .

Snap mollie was only 8 months old ! Will treasure those 8 months for ever in my heart. Still have huge pic of me cuddling her in our bedroom sometimes it breaks my heart so out of date and wonder about putting away but still there! Have put one or 2 away.

Well done on getting your first scan over with Celebgran, it must have been very scary for you, was it painful when they injected you with the dye? I've heard it feels very cold.
I had a dreadful nights sleep last night, thinking about my beloveds (even with the 'Kalms night' tab), my ND said the same! The pain doesn't lessen does it , I am wondering if I'm making my feelings worse, with all the pics of them everywhere I cannot push them to the back of my mind, no matter how much I try, I think of them all day, but not every second of the day, as I did when all this began.
I'm off to a photo shoot tonight with my dancing friends, not done one before, so feel I should make the effort, trouble is my Friday night fish & chips and glass of wine are calling me, which I would have to forgo if I go out

Such a shame, you don’t know what he looks like, sounds like etc, must be heart breaking and soul destroying. Don’t know if it’s better not knowing or knowing them too well as me and Hubby do. We had really major hands on time with all three of my GC, nearly every weekend, the eldest was GS was 9years old on 05.012.13 and first time not allowed to call him or give him a present for his birthday.
Glad to hear your Mum’s op went well, I wish her a rapid recovery. Patient confidentiality .

Yogalgirl, I was the same terrible night; cortisone injection was giving me jip. I actually took 2 Kalms night tablets, didn’t help. So I was on FB between 2 - 5 am this morning and looking at my albums with the 3 GC on. Enjoy your photo shoot, is this a glam-gran photo shoot? You could have a night cap wine when you come home.

I was really notty yesterday, I bought 3 chocolate Easter bunnies for the GC and going to take them over at Easter, don’t give a hoot what D thinks. Hubby’s not too sure evil-

Morning ladies. Just got back from my walk, mist has gone and the sun is trying to break through. Visited mum yesterday and she's doing OK. She's had a shoulder replacement; don't know when she's likely to be discharged and will go and see her again tomorrow.

Ooh Yogagirl I hate needles so please don't make me have an injection . Don't know what the answer to to the photo situation is. It probably isn't the photo's but the awful situation you, and all of us are in. I get nights when I can't sleep too I suppose it's something we need to expect from time to time.

I think the more we try not to think about the children and grand children we've lost, the more we do. Hope you enjoyed your photo shoot and had a better night's sleep last night.

I have bee relaxing today! We tried to take Rosie out when rain cleared but she would not go far, bless. Husband pointed out she had been going up and down stairs all morning to be with me!

We had lovely night out last night our favourite duo trick of trade loads dancing and fish and chips included ! With our good friends too.

There are no easy answers to ph dilemma. Regarding my daughter I can't bear to see them of her so that solves that and her beautiful graduation and wedding pics are in our loft !
Baby mollie our first and adored Gra daughter still looks at me from last photo of us all 3. Together to other favourite of me holding her the rare times my daughter brought her to visit.

Husband now says he wants to write try speak to her to ask for monthly supervised contact or we will go to court?? He feels the photo o. Facebook was last straw. Oh dear I am not sure if he means it or just wants to appeas me either way photo shook us rigid.

Also good news my blood pressure come down to healthy. 134/84 even lower some days and pulse rate good too so at last half strength beta blocker seems enough.

I am paying as has couple surprise clients last week, one regular come out hospital and one old client rang for appt last time she said her eyebrows were too thin! So I was very very careful this time, I have new eyebrow shape wooden sticks very weeny! It is all about what client wants!

My photo shoot on Friday was quite good fun, amateur photograhers practicing their shots .
I've decided to asked the courts for a copy of my original application, so I can forward to all family members to show I ticked the box saying GC well looked after and loved, as what my s.i.l said is so vile, I want to make sure there is no doubt I am telling the truth and it will also prove my nasty s.i.l is a dangergous liar!!
After 5yrs Celebgran maybe you should go to court but its not a nice thing to go through. I could do the paper work ok, but I think you need a lawyer when it comes to the court hearing, as they 'talk the talk' and we dont. But let your hubby try for monthly visits first.

Morning ladies. Great news about your bp Celebran and that you're managing to relax . If you are considering going to court you really do need to see a family solicitor. My bro. did family law for years. The first thing they'll ask is if you're prepared to go to mediation. In his experience this is often successful and court proceedings can be avoided. Of course both parties need to agree and if it ends up going to court the judge will be made aware which party wasn't prepared to try mediation.

Your hubby is right to try and see if your d will agree to supervised monthly visits first. Have you thought about who would be supervising? Going to court could be extremely traumatic for you both as Yogagirl can attest too. I hope your d will agree to some form of contact so you all can be spared court proceedings.

Oh poor you Yogagirl, fancy getting man flu; perhaps an injection might help . Glad you enjoyed your photo shoot. Chocolate and jewellery party, you lucky thing, those are two of my most favorite things . Good idea to see if you can get a copy of your original court application. It would be great if you could prove once and for all what a liar you s.i.l. is. Isn't it awful that you have to go to such lengths to prove that you're the honest and decent person every one should know you are.

Last night I had the strangest dream....(there's a song there, isn't there?) I dreamed that I was in my dressing gown in the car park at our local town centre, and my DD who has estranged herself for the second time now, came smiling towards me, saying that life is too short for us to be apart like this. We hugged and and told each other that we loved each other....then I woke up.
I'm putting it down to the fact that I was researching my own mother's family online yesterday afternoon, and printing out lots of birth, marriage and death certificates. It's stayed with me all day, this 'kind of sadness'.

That's the worst thing about lovely dreams isn't it Marelli you wake up. It probably was due to the research you were doing yesterday. I hope the sadness hasn't been as bad for you today. for you as spring has begun and in a few months it'll be summer and let's hope it brings some for us all.

Took the photo of our 3 grand daughters to show our elderly neibor bless her she so wanted to see, she knew mollie like we did.

We had lovely evening with good friends and Chris our friend has offered to take me on Tuesdays he has scan too on same day so I will wait for him and vice versa, it was so kind of him to offer!

Unfortunately there are very few family members left now. My other kids have also offered various pieces of help but all offers are refused. I think the son in law has a lot of answering to do here. My daughter works, son in law does not. My daughter's family have offered help his family have not. My daughter cant see this or does not want to see it. I dont know what more I can do. I have other stresses going on at the moment too and I would have liked some support. I dont want the other famliy members to be against her but they all say she has had all sorts of chances and still goes on doing the silliest things and putting her kids in danger. I had a heart attack during her last episode of this sort of stuff so she is putting me at risk too.

Smileless I need that injection! I feel really bad today, worsted I've felt in years, cancelled everything, apart from my hygienist this morning, at £50 pay in advance, I soldiered on for that. I enjoyed the choc and shop party yesterday, bought some make-up and we won some lovely [cupcakes] and a doggie hamper for Lilly, so that was good.
