I buy Sloggi pants. They cost more but last for ever, literally years, so work out cheaper in the long run. Very comfortable.

The problem's easy to solve, go commando!
I have a few pairs of knicks in a drawer for medical appointments, but have gone commando for the past 25 years. I was even commando at our son's wedding! I did wear a floor length dress though

Could the real reason for this be the increase of older women, therefore more urinary incontinence, requiring room for pads inside the underwear? It might have nothing to do with trans people at all.

Of course you can return pants, if you buy 3 packs of three, 2 packs still in original packing unopened, then send the unopened packs back. I would take the 2 unworn pairs and the laundered tried-on one back to the shop and complained.

Shops are well used to taking good back that are not resaleable. When the seam on a sweater wnt a week or two after I had bought it. I took it back to the shop and got my money back.

What I do not understand why, if these pants didn't fit, the OP then went on to spend £100s of pounds buying even more of an unsuitable product, which she claims she could not then return.

i was surprised to find out recently that schoolgirls wear these as normal under skirts/dresses due to upskirting by boys.
when i mentioned it to an african friend, middle-aged, she said yes of course, it was part of the uniform at her girls-only school in africa.
i felt v old. out of touch.

well i shop in pound shops. now they are mostly pound plus.
anyway i buy various things, including underwear.
i got some recently in the mighty pound which i find really comfortable. one pound fifty each. i think they claim to pull in the tummy a bit. but i don't bother with that. i buy the biggest possible as i find them more comfortable.
on getting them home and putting on i find 2 have a small gap in the seam at the top near the waistband. i won't bother to take them back, it's too far, and anyway reckon they will last long enough. they are 95% cotton, 5% lycra.

Yes. I get mine from The Big Bloomer company. I always worried that, if I was walking down the street wearing baggy trousers or a long dress my Tena Lady would slip out! I don’t actually have to wear them now but when I had atrophy I suffered from terrible key in door syndrome. You can get them in all colours to match whatever dress you’re wearing. Before I discovered them I used to wear short leggings under my dress or trousers.

I would have thought if the problems she is complaining of is so evident, she wouldn't need to even try them on, just take one out of the pack and look at it. As for constantly buying the same thing again and again and not being prepared to exchange them. I do trust she did at least donate the pairs she hadn't worn to a charity shop.

M&S have an offer on at the moment -pack of three for £4.20. Those ones are a horrible colour though.

Is this for real? There are a thousand places online and various supermarkets that supply underwear.
