Hamas is the de facto government of Gaza and as such shouls be legally recognised by foreign states, so that Hamas may enter into peace discussions .

Our Prime Minister should recognise Hamas asap and one wonders why he does not do so.

Quoting biblical stories as facts helps nobody, history is always distorted there would have been no Gaza problem 2000 or even 200 yrs ago. The rebels would have been starved or slaughtered within a few months - end of problem, modern times we have developed a concience, it’s not PC to kill millions so conflicts drag on and on without any resolution.

"Quoting biblical stories as facts helps nobody" Well that's the main case for the creation of the State of Israel, David It is the "Promised land" for the "chosen people" and is the main reason for the Palestinians being in the situation they are now in. ie in Gaza and the West Bank.
No it's not "PC to kill millions" and I much prefer to live in a world of unresolved or difficult to resolve conflicts than one where there are no consequences for countries that kill their neighbours over a patch of land. Call me an softie but I much prefer talking to killing!

It was a diversion in the thread.

Into all the rubbish about “the end of days” and presumably the second coming🙄

I was just pointing out that there had been lots of “end of days”……..

There are some videos released of the Hamas butchery 7th October 2023, not of the rapes , strangling, burning out of respect to the victims, people are asking for more videos to
show what the Israelis suffered

To be honest AB I couldn't watch those. When I went to Auschwitz neither my husband nor I could go into the gas chambers. We are not Jewish, but we are of that era. I just couldn't stand in a room where I knew people had been deliberately put to death.

I can understand that , i get upset if Auschwitz is shown in a
documentary,

I couldn't watch them either and am no longer able to watch the scenes of desperate Palestinians trying to get food, and the pictures of starving and injured children.
