Knitted poppies

Has anyone got a really simple pattern for making knitted poppies?? I’ve trawled the internet but don’t want one that uses 120 stitches to start nor one with separate petals!! Please help!

Most of the knitters I know donate their knitted poppies to the British Legion Poppy appeal..
