I've knitted for years but never tried fairisle. Perhaps a hat will get me started. Lovely job.

Time to get this thread back to hats!

I quite fancy having a go at this pattern. I certainly have enough yarn in my stash!

Callistemon Tue 04-May-21 18:15:29

I've probably got enough for 100 hats blush

But none as lovely as that!

That's beautiful purplepixie! I think I have seen that pattern on Ravelry.

I have done one fair isle pattern, but it takes patience for me, and I seem to have a shorter attention span for knitting these days.

Lovely hat pixi well done you .
I can just about knit a scarf .get in a right pickle when it comes to anything complicated and I have to start increasing and decreasing or I drop a stitch .

Here is a link for the Alaska hat pattern. It is not free but more than worth it when you get it. I am thinking about incorporating the trees to go around the bottom of a jumper. Maybe my next project……….

Stay safe and have a lovely day.
