I’ve been inspired by the poncho post so I thought I’d show you all the jacket made for my grandson.

Whilst he was having his year out in Australia he was very short of money but bought an 80s/90s silk jacket. I’ve repaired it at least twice but finally it became unwearable. I made a pattern from the old one one and used it to make a new but different one. My only regret is that the silk pieces I’d already bought were imitation silk not the real thing. I also re-used the original lining. The one with green is the new one.
