That's really good, I love the swirly pattern. You're very talented Purplepixie. You say it took two weeks? How many hours would that be, roughly?

I never count the hours but I mostly knit at night after tea. Thanks for the kind words.

My sis in law used to knit Arran cardigans for my DGD when she was small . She used good quality wool and they were beautiful. Lots of people would stop my DD and ask where she got the cardigans from. They were impossible to wear out so DGD would grow out of them eventually and DD would pass them on to one of the admirers.
This was over ten years ago but I bet there is still a little girl about wearing them . Sis in law has lost her sight now so is unable to follow a pattern and no longer knits .

Sad that your sister in law has list her sight.

When my youngest son was at uni I knitted over 100 hats for him to sell. They all went. Of course I let him keep the money but I often wonder where they went.

I'm going to send you the one I started for myself about 25 years ago, got stuck doing cables up the right hand front and never finished it.

You'll do it in an evening - then you can keep it 😁
It probably wouldn't fit me now anyway!

I’d kind that but I’d sent it back to you for you to enjoy.

Thank you Purplepixie.

When this blanket I'm making is finished, I might just take it out and finish it.
