Hi Frankel a few who drop in and out think * pete n gramps* have assumed squatters rights in the shed now ..possession being 9/10 of the law. ..

Sitting next to legal eagle at the moment. To get squatters rights G and P wold have to apply do the land registry for title! The legal owner then has some time to appeal!

Ah! But to claim 'squatters rights'( which I don't think exist anymore) they have to claim title to the land with land registry.
I do wonder how the civil servants at the land registry would feel about granting title to virtual land?

I think 'squatters' rights' must still exist, jeni - you still can't get them out of your home if they move in!

Not after 1 sept this year they don't. And anyway you can evict them with a court order. I think the bill was passed in may this year.
