I'm completely puzzled by the whole Easter thing to be honest (not the religious side obviously). My kids got an egg each when they were small and probably one each from my parents but we never did egg hunts or made a big thing of it. I remember being slightly shocked when my mum suddenly sent an Easter card when she was in her 70's - not something she or us had ever done. We gave our 2 granddaughters (15 & 19) an egg and £20 each a few weeks ago - they live 2 hours away so didn't think we'd see them but we went down there yesterday and took them and their parents & eldest's boyfriend out to lunch so paid for that. I'm afraid all I did for the two little ones in NZ was sent them an interactive e-card. Not sure what the Easter equivalent of bah humbug is but that's probably us
