Snap! After 18 months of living in two places, we've now got everything in one place and have a garage full of bags and boxes to sort and sift through, chucking out duplicates of lots of things. Right now, it feels like about 7 years' work ahead of us!

Week 3 of new job and different work patterns to adjust to. Will be working every evening, right through my normal dinner time, so having to bake / prep and eat earlier. Very little DH time too, but lots of time to myself in the day - strange! The one evening we could have together, he has got to work late so i guess we will just catch up at the weekend. Beyond that, meeting up with a good friend at the end of the week and lunch out, charity shopping and scrabble in store.

After all the hype about our threads going on the media/facebook where ever I would be very cautious saying what I was doing , where I was going, when I was away from home, appointment times etc etc the list goes on... it's not private any more.

Got a very mixed couple of weeks ahead.
Going to a family wedding tomorrow, so that should be nice.
Out for lunch with DiL on Wednesday.
DS, DiL and GC coming for dinner on Thursday.
And on Friday....going into hospital for the day for a lumpectomy to get rid of the tiny cancer they discovered at my mammogram last week. (Good luck with yours Jane, it shows how important they are)
Depending on the outcome, a few days after that we're going on a cruise (consultant says no reason not to go, though DH wants to cancel)
See what I mean by mixed?!

Today - getting locksmith in to fix lock which came away in my hand yesterday - done.
Rest of week - painting walls which involves cleaning first and scraping away the paint that was sloshed around by whoever painted it yesterday.
Objecting to the double yellow lines that they want to put everywhere on our estate so that it will be difficult to get things delivered. We have a car park but they have gone berserk with double yellows everywhere around people are coming on to our estate to park so we need the one remaining bit of road to be left.
When I finish the painting, I'm going to order a new sofa and then rest.
