How to wash roasting tin liners?

I sometimes use those creamy coloured roasting tray liners if I'm doing something sticky. They work much better than foil or baking paper but they are hard to get clean and necessitate lots of changes of water.

The instructions say they can be put in the dishwasher - how does that work?

Any help gratefully received!

I just soak roasting pans with hot water and detergent and then put on hob, bring to boil and simmer for 15 minutes. If anything remains, it comes off quickly with a scourer.

I still think it sounds easier than lining the pan.

I use liners and stick them in the dishwasher; they come out ok. I cannot abide washing roasting tins or oven trays!

Monica, that is a lot more involved than my holding a floppy bit of liner under a running tap - so I'll stick with my liners. To line the pan I take the liner out of the drawer, place in pan, roast, remove from pan and stand manhandling the floppy liner under hot tap.

Baggs, I'm trying to avoid having to do much at all. Even rinse the floppy bit of liner was taxing me! blush
