I have a Dyson Absolute Pro. Bought it in black Friday sale 2017. By this year's black Friday it was problematic (first playing up ome months earlier). Lack of any suction, engineer cane out last month and had to replace the whole motor section and the battery. On the plus side it's convenient and easy to use (also handy for doing the car interiors without trailing an electric cord across the pavemebt).
Downside: tiddly little waste pot - has to be emptied during the course of cleaning our modest sized house; filters a pain because of drying time; having to recharge the battery and the abysmally high cost for something which needed repair only a year after purchase. I won't buy one again! Previous corded but heavy Dyson uprights performed fine, and I keep a ratty old Vax upright for filthy jobs such as our recent brick and plaster dust clearing up. Pros and construction to both types!
How do you acknowledge Easter.
