I'm on the wagon (ish) so just having a yet another bloody lovely cup of tea smile

Used to be a lovely chilled dry white wine but one has to make sacrifices in search of the body beautiful!

A glass of white wine, unusually for me,but I am on a shott break with family and need to block out the chatter and have to be sociable.

Alcohol ban for me at the moment, due to medication. sad

I would love a cheeky wee Pinot Grigio, but tea it is. I will have to have some chocolate as compensation. wink

Tea all day and now an orange juice with lemonade and lots of ice!

yorkshire Tea. Previously elderflower presse. (Sorry, can’t do accents on iPad.)

Pantglas1 Mon 05-Aug-19 20:30:34

I’m on my second G&T after a lovely trip down the coast where I had a small beer with lunch. Don’t drink every day, don’t drink on my own and NEVER drink and drive, so am happy to indulge on occasion.

I too never drink around kids or when I had work following day - all these rules and my grandmother insisted we were sent to Band of Hope on a Monday night! Who remembers that?

gmarie Mon 05-Aug-19 20:34:57

Coffee in the a.m., energy drink in the afternoon, and (sometimes) grapefruit beer with dinner. smile

Minniemoo Mon 05-Aug-19 20:38:07

Ribena of all things. I have the sugary stuff in for the children and just fancied a glass. When I was pregnant with my son I'd drink a whole bottle a day. Surprised I've still got all my teeth left

Lisagran Mon 05-Aug-19 20:38:28

Second glass of Verdicchio from Waitrose - it’s a lovely, soft dry white wine

Grannycool52 Mon 05-Aug-19 20:52:46

Water at the moment, but now a little tempted....?

MiniMoon Mon 05-Aug-19 20:53:52

Just had a nice cup of tea. It's a bit late for me really, but it's all I fancied.

silversurf Mon 05-Aug-19 20:57:13

Ice cold full fat milk. My favourite bedtime drink.

Bathsheba Mon 05-Aug-19 20:57:59

A bloody great big glass of Echo Falls fruity wine, the raspberry and cassis one. It always feels a bit odd to be putting a bottle of 'red' wine in the fridge but, believe me, this is perfect chilled!

Bathsheba Mon 05-Aug-19 20:59:24

Haven't put it back in the fridge though. I emptied it. It's going in the bin.

Pantglas1 Mon 05-Aug-19 21:02:31

Well done Bathsheba - I’ll be with you bleary-eyed in the morning!

Scribbles Mon 05-Aug-19 21:10:51

OH is in the kitchen right now, making me my nightly mug of peppermint tea.

Scentia Mon 05-Aug-19 21:16:18

Hot water with lemon slices in.

Barberdice Mon 05-Aug-19 21:19:21

All this talk about drinks. Couldn't resist it. Have just made myself a pink gin and tonic with ice. So refreshing.

SisterAct Mon 05-Aug-19 21:19:36

Earl Grey

BradfordLass72 Mon 05-Aug-19 21:31:16

A mug of boiling (or just off the boil now) of water.

Good for the digestion.

I'm not teetotal as I like a cold beer on a hot day but I'm not very keen on other alcohol, though I have enjoyed a glass of very expensive white wine occasionally.

Moreso because I didn't buy it. wine smile

Bathsheba Mon 05-Aug-19 21:35:08

Pantglas ? hic wink

Hetty58 Mon 05-Aug-19 21:38:57

Yorkshire tea here too - absolutely love it!

Allegretto Mon 05-Aug-19 21:39:43

2 glasses of wine with dinner and then a glass of port. I’m on holiday at the moment so enjoying some treats. Back to porridge tomorrow!
