I'm on the wagon (ish) so just having a yet another bloody lovely cup of tea smile

Used to be a lovely chilled dry white wine but one has to make sacrifices in search of the body beautiful!

Same as last time I replied, pink gin and tonic. If I’m still answering the same by next Monday your all to give me a good talking too.

A lovely cup of Twinings tea from my favourite mug after a very trying and windy 16hr day!

Cold coffee. I got up about 7.30 to make drinks for myself and DH. Took them back to bed and have been scrolling through internet. Reading this post reminded me I had a mug of coffee at side of bed. DH is the same. His turn tomorrow to make drinks which will also be drunk cold. (Ex teachers, very used to cold coffee)

Black coffee with sugar. My favourite for many years.
There have been so many contradictory reports about coffee. Now they say it delays dementia, helps to prevent diabetes and doesn't stop you sleeping.

Glammy57 Thu 08-Aug-19 09:19:00

Coffee with skimmed milk.

MissAdventure Thu 08-Aug-19 09:34:42

Nankate Mmmmm, sounds lovely - as does Pittcity s elderflower tonic.

I'd love a Pimms but I don't have any and I'm trying to cut down on alcohol intake. Coffee for me in a few minutes - from a cafetiere, not those plastic pod things.

henetha Thu 08-Aug-19 11:47:53

My second cup of tea of the morning.

Fennel Thu 08-Aug-19 11:53:43

Three cups of coffee so far. Two at home and another at the hairdresser. And now I've got to drive for two hours. Help! grin

SparklyGrandma Thu 08-Aug-19 13:16:52

Water with ice in it.

harrigran Thu 08-Aug-19 18:28:00

Sparkling Sauvignon blanc, alcohol free and it is very refreshing. Sitting in the garden with my book.

I’m hoping to have at least 3 glasses of wine with my supper tonight. It’s a rare treat to be eating out at all, near mind on a Thursday. I intend to make the most of it. smile

annep1 Thu 08-Aug-19 18:48:00

Much needed glass of wine!
We had the plumber in changing the shower. Four hours - long story!
Then tried - I stress tried to transfer an ISA.
Now lying on bed with a glass of red to destress while husband makes dinner.

gillybob Thu 08-Aug-19 18:59:43

Just picking up on Harri’s alcohol free wine . Sainsbury’s do an excellent alcohol free sparking wine . I rarely get to a Sainsburys as there aren’t any near me so when I do go I stock up . smile

Lessismore Thu 08-Aug-19 19:03:23

Well, I am having a lovely glass of Cointreau on ice - because I can! Normally only have a nightcap at the weekend, but am on holiday tomorrow, so have started early.

Iced water.
Its sweltering here!

annep1 Fri 09-Aug-19 02:18:31

I havee never drunk alcohol free wine. If I don't want alcohol I usually drink water. Perhaps I'll try it.

maddyone Fri 09-Aug-19 12:54:08

Tea again.
