If you won the lottery what would you buy?

A house in Aldeburgh with sea views.

Oh yes. I’d have that one that used to belong to Benjamin Britten. Used to be called Crag House, I think - no 4 Crabbe Street.

I’d pay my grandchildren’s school fees and make sure they are set up for university as well.

I’d endow scholarships for talented students of music and ballet to go to specialist schools.

I hope this is a big win!

A little cottage near the sea or on a river and a VW camper van and a Morris Traveller

Also a large donation to the Cats’ Protection League.

Not sure that it's necessary to actually play the lottery to fantasise about winning it.

I would have the decoraters in and have every room in the housem except the bathroom, done up.

The bathroom would be completely re-built, enlarged, have both a walk-in shower and a bath-tub installed.

New windows with the latest energy saving technology and new outer doors next on the list.

After that, if there was still money left - front garden dug up and paved with small beds containing flowering bushes and one or two tubs of flowers. Garrage drive paved as well, sot that deliveries of logs etc. can be wheeled all the way up to the wood-pile.

But I shan't do any of all this, as I never buy lottery tickets!

I'd extend at the back of the house so that I could have a bigger kitchen and dining room, but I wouldn't move as I love where I live. If there was anything left over I might have a new roof but it would have to be a very big win. Sadly it will never happen as I don't do the lottery!!

I finish up my daughters mortgage, sort the rest of the family out, pay the boys university costs, move house and buy two cars. Nice big cheque for the hospice and Lupus charities.

I’d buy an environmentally friendly, fuel efficient, wheelchair friendly bungalow and auction our present home for charity. I’d make sure my nearest and dearest were taken care of, ensure I had enough to live comfortably, then I’d look at important causes to fund. Oh, and I’d buy a mobility friendly car and a camper van to go travelling in the UK.

I'd buy an electric car, newkitchen and bathroom then share all the rest between my 4 children and me.

A house (small) suitable for my disabled partner to move around in.

The remainder to those charities desperately trying to help people living on the streets, and the pensioners who can't afford to heat their homes.

I don’t do the lottery either, but it does seem crazy to me that the latest Euro big prize was 109 million. Why not have 109 one million prizes? A high amount but not enough to ruin your life. I could be very happy spending a million, helping out family and favourite charities. I’d also like a small electric car. And heat pumps for as many family and friends as possible.

All the rescue animals in the world that I could!

I would buy guide dog puppies so more people could get a guide dog. Think it's so wrong they have to rely on charity for one

I’ve just won £100 in this month’s Premium Bond prize draw which I’ll use towards paying off the balance of our summer holiday. If I was luck enough to win a jackpot prize I’d buy a holiday home in the Canaries and spend the winter there and the summer here. I’d donate to a local charity who support residents who have been diagnosed with cancer, and be generous to my family.

I agree Bazza. Ridiculous amounts, far too much for one person.

Agree with helping grandchildren get on the property ladder ,homeless charities,animal charities .
From a selfish point of view I’ve always wanted a piece of woodland !
Private medicine would be great too with all the long NHS lists .

I would sort out my family first, then buy a nice house and a villa abroad but considering my biggest lottery win has been £10 it would be a box of chocolates and a bottle of wine

I’d buy nice flats or small houses for my older boys (who are still living at home) and my dSS2 and give money to DSS1, DSD and the grandchildren. I would downsize to an eco bungalow with a neat manageable garden with dh and ds3 and put money in a trust for ds3 to access when he’s 18 and get the lot when he’s 25.

I would get myself a couple more dogs (I currently can’t afford the insurance for more than 1) and a suitable car to take them out in. I might do a tour of Australia. I’d love to swim at Bondi but I’m also scared of flying so not sure in that.

The rest I would donate to local animal charities, the local schools and the food bank.
