I was up at six, ate yoghurt, granola, mango and a large latte at seven - but I'm in one of those hungry modes so might have some bacon later!

Breakfast is the same every day, two slices of toast with goat's cheese. If I am extra hungry I will have a yogurt and maybe a kiwi.

Full English on a Saturday, poached egg on toast or oatabix with dried apricots in the week.

We don’t eat breakfast as we have done 16-8 for several years now.
But if you take the meaning literally we break our fast around noon. Today we have a ham omelettes and fruit.

I am glad for this thread.
I have got to the stage I am fed up with my usual choices for breakfast - cereal, occasional fry up, just toast.
I need inspiration.
I eat cereal for the milk. Swapped to a milky coffee to still get my milk.

Nothing as yet! off swimming, if I eat it tends to repeat so I'll put it off, maybe have a banana and hot chocolate at my health club. after my swim. Any significant eating will occur later in the day, brunch of some sort!

Same every day except when staying in a hotel, when it would be a fry-up. But normally: pineapple juice, pot of tea, muesli, banana and honey marmalade on brown toast.

Porridge, with raspberries, blueberries, strawberries, Greek yoghurt and honey. I have this every day except on holiday when I'll have a full English.

We are having toast with avocado, poached eggs and topped with streaky bacon. I don’t have butter so my toast is spread with marmite and the whole thing topped with chilli flakes it’s so yum.

Porridge with raspberries and a big mug of tea.

My usual breakfast is porridge with yogurt and berries, occasionally I will have crumpets. This morning I had a bacon sandwich because I found some bacon in the freezer.

Scrambled eggs with bacon, orange juice and coffee

Industrial quantities of tea. Had a cold at the beginning of the week and my appetite hasn't returned yet. Not a problem. Might lose a couple of lbs!

Same MrsKen for me. About 12:30-1 I’ll have Weetabix, prunes, blueberries and a banana.

shysal Sat 18-Mar-23 09:42:24

Two poached duck eggs on toast.

Baggs Sat 18-Mar-23 09:44:36

I'm another who drinks 'industrial quantities' of tea first thing along with prunes, dried apricots and dates, then a bit later I have an apple and some cake (homemade – the current one contains beetroot).

My innards are grateful for this regimen, with plenty of kale or other brassicas later in the day.

A handful of prescription meds and 2 glasses of water.

tanith Sat 18-Mar-23 10:15:13

Bran flakes with raspberries and a Saturday treat a croissant with my own blackberry jam and tea.

dogsmother Sat 18-Mar-23 10:15:51

I requested toast and marmalade and a cup of tea, it was brought up to me as himself left for his very early golf comp.
It’s been a sad week and he’s a very kind man.

This is the sort of breakfast I ate for years, minus the toast - always savoury, but changed during Lockdowns to ring the changes, and it leaves me the option to have that later in the day for lunch or dinner.

Eggs, avocado, olive oil, tomatoes, and cheese usually appear somewhere in my daily diet.

I've resisted the urge for a second breakfast by dabbling in a bit of housework - diversion therapy smile

Llamedos13 Sat 18-Mar-23 10:24:24

Cranberry muffin and a big mug of coffee.

JaneJudge Sat 18-Mar-23 10:25:58
