Have just opened my bedroom window; it already feels like summer. It’s been a long time coming and very welcome.

I have been washing all week and even a bit of ironing a rare event for me. Now I am packed for a week away to quiet location and looking forward to a lovely Welsh landscape.

Was up and out to meet friends with our dogs in an enclosed field, one of my dogs having the recall of a javelin. Beautiful and quiet, and the dogs had a blast.

It's raining here, and it feels wonderful! I don't think we'll get enough to replenish my empty water butts though.

Even the east had a warm day I m so grateful shopping this morning and beach this afternoon ( if it stays )

I've been round the garden with the watering can. I'm thankful for the calm weather as usually by this time, the peonies have been battered by wind and rain. The veg are desperate for a drink.

Full sunshine this morning. Temperatures here are expected to rise to 23°c this afternoon, we'll wait and see. It's still breezy. I'm off to the pharmacy shortly to collect my prescription, I might brave wearing a summer dress!
There are two agricultural shows on locally but I don't intend visiting either of them.

It's actually raining here and I'm delighted after weeks of no rain.
The watering cans will stay in the shed today, thankfully.

We're supposed to have thundery showers later.
We'd welcome some rain (overnight) but the chances are it will skirt around here!

Not sunny here in Manchester but pleasantly warm. Planning to do a photo shoot outside before the sun comes out.

I put some washing out last night and have taken it in bone dry this morning. It is roasting here in Berkshire.

I'm not venturing out again today. I'd done my 10k steps by 9am with the dogs, and it was hot on the south coast then.

All the sunny side windows are closed, ditto curtains. Everything is open on the shady side. As soon as the sun moves over, I’ll do the same on the other side.

Warm and dull here, in SW Wales. We are longing for rain as the gardens are parched.

My garden is crying out for rain, which I hope will come sometime this weekend. Fed up watering.

It’s raining. Not a deluge but wet.

Quite hot in Northamptonshire. 27 degrees predicted.
I had intended to plant a lot of plants in the garden today but I will leave it until next week. I don't want them to wither and die.
I'm hoping for rain. I can't remember when we last had some.
