My go to place would be Lands End but the blue isn't very nice.

I'd like straight leg smartish ones.

Thank you!!

If you want to push the boat out Brora have some fabulous jersey trousers. They're not plain navy but ' textured weave' . They are very, very expensive but so warm and will last for years. I bought similar ones in their sale in springtime and would love another pair. I've actually sent off for them to try them but will probably return them and wait to buy them in January sale. If I love them I'll keep them as I think sometimes worth it to pay more for something that will last for years. It's cost per wear so can work out cheaper long term-

😲😲😲

Just be careful that they're not dry clean only!

Just be careful that they're not dry clean only, like so many expensive trousers!

M and S are my go-to shop for trousers. They have some lovely navy jersey trousers at an affordable price.

Marks and Spencer have got a range of high rise jersey trousers for this Autumn in various widths / lengths (slim leg/ankle grazer; straight leg; wide leg) with comfortable waist bands. The navy is a classic shade and, at £17.50, they’re an absolute steal. They also have more tailored trousers too with comfortable, forgiving waistbands!

M & S

I just don’t think M&S do a decent weight of jersey these days. The Brora trousers at £180+ are frankly way too expensive but “buy cheap, buy twice”. Cheap jersey trousers just look like joggers and I don’t think that’s what OP was looking for.
I hope the Cotswold trousers might be a reasonable compromise.

I wear the M&S jersey trousers. I have them in navy, black and grey and find them very comfortable. I always wear them indoors in winter and they are quite smart for going out as well.

There are some nice straight leg Jaeger navy or black ankle grazers in M & S.
I find the jogger type ones go shapeless and bobbly after a couple of washes, but they are comfortable.

The M&S £17.50 jersey trousers are such good value. I have them in black and navy (it is a lovely navy BTW). I liked them so much that I bought another pair of each colour!

M&S jersey trousers

Another big yes for the M n S range from here, different leg lengths, choices of some elastic or not on waistlines, comfy, smart.

And a further yes from me.
