The real question is whether Putin’s power and vision will last beyond his life I think. The same applies to Netanyahu and to Trump. So much of what is happening seems to be personality and ego driven, and those very strong leaders are all old, and not in good health. I’m not convinced that any of them are representative of their electorates, and what will happen when they are no longer around is an unknown.
Russia has no shortage of despots that will step into Putins shoes when he goes, while he has the support of China to buy his oil and other resources, that’s not likely to change China will increase the supply of technology to continue the war, if it is escalated, it suits China nicely to have Ukraine as a distraction for the west.
Exactly - and all Trumps sycophantic minions seem to have the same lack of morals or empathy that he has . But as for the voters changing after his death I’m dubious, Vance as Vice President is just as nasty and self- serving. My own hope is that Trump carries on in the way he is going, decimating the USA and NOT lowering prices and housing, etc, …and then there is the little matter of the Epstein Files that his base is riled up about… so that all this combined will bring him down SOON and the US might collectively get a overall dose of common sense back? As for getting the Peace Prize which he has longed for, unless a miracle happens, just his bombing Iran alone should stymie that? Let alone his stopping help and lack of action elsewhere in particular Gaza and Ukraine. His stopping foreign aid shouldn’t help either, which by doing so has condemned many peoples in third world counties to death!
