He seems to be ramping up his murderous attacks day by day.

Trump makes lots of threats against Russia but never carries them out. Whenever asked for any action on the Ukraine/Russia War, he always says he will do something in 2 weeks, but again backs off.

It will be a travesty if Trump gets the Peace Prize.

The only measure that I can see is very, very severe economic sanctions that will devastate the Russian economy. People in Russia are already unhappy. Should the economy take a nose dive, there could be a real change in power . Alternatively, his obvious ill health could overtake him.

You have to be careful.with sanctions. Putin could get driven further into the arms of China.
The Russians are not of a European mindset. Think Ghengis Khan. At the time of Tianamen Square it emerged that it was impossible to translate into Chinese the concept of individual liberty. Different mindset. You probably can translate negotiate into Russian but their whole mindset is that they don't really. It seems from what I read that anyone who succeeds Putin will be more of the same. I can see no solution here.

The question is what is going to stop the US? They are now facilitating two wars and and a genocide. Get schooled: x.com/ricwe123/status/1961802294095229316?s=61

History of Russia and Ukraine.
Ukraine agrees to give up its nuclear weapons in 1994, in return for a guarantee of peace by Russia and the USA.
How is that treaty going so far?

This is evidence that nuclear arms work as a deterrant.

It is also proof that neither Russia, nor the US with a President who knows nothing about history and adores Putin, are to be trusted at all.

Putin will stop when he has secured his goals. Zelensky gone from Ukraine and a smaller Ukraine. Plus NATO kept away from Ukraine. Trump can’t change Putin’s strategy.

Agree with this.

Monica, that was my first thought too!

Trump is too chummy with Putin and Netanyahu. It's pretty obvious they're doing deals behind closed doors to carve up various bits of the world whilst appearing to want peace. They just want to line their own pockets and fuel their own egos.

Got it in one @MollyNew

If Trump were gone, both Putin and Netanyahu would go also. That is the evil Trump is perpetrating.

Western leaders are learning how to interact with POTUS. Pandering to his ego. They are not learning how to interact with Putin. He has a personality consistent with his Judo involvement. i.e. never give in.
I hope Putin is stopped soon before he turns his sights to the Baltic states Russia once occupied as I have family there.

I agree with the assassination idea!
I also think that the ordinary Russian people have no idea of what is going on (only what Putin allows them to know) and would hope that if they could be made aware, they might vote in a normal human being instead of a malicious and cruel devil.

I’m pretty sure the Russian population know what is happening but also know the price of opposing Putin, he has control of the population by fear of punishment. Exactly the same in China and North Korea, you do not oppose the government if you value your liberty or even life, several other Asian countries are not much better.

We now see India turning to Russia and China in response to Trumps oil tariff, a big own goal in my view, China is of course reveling in the attention it’s getting, a big plus for them.
