Tattoos on older women

I know tattoos are a thing now, & I’ll probably be slated, but whilst on holiday, & walking round the seaside today, I noticed a lot of woman in their 60s/70s have tattoos.
I think they probably had them in the 90s as the tattoos looked blue & faded.
I know friends of mine had them done, especially around the belly button, shoulder & lower back.
Some regret getting them done, two have had them removed.

Now all the younger people seem to have full sleeves & full thighs, & lower legs, is this trend persuading the older generation to get one?
I know, each to their own, but personally I don’t care for tattoos.
Just wondering what other grans think of tattoos?
Do some grans have them & regret getting them done?

She's in her mid to late 30s now, and she isn't keen at all on the tattoo.
It takes up the whole of her back, but it was music she and her dad enjoyed together.

Perhaps she has had it covered now, but it would be a major job, i think.

This is the fellow she has on her back.
He's riding a motorbike, sticking his middle finger up, and wearing a bandana.
It says highway to hell, too.

Miss A, I have seen that picture before, I wonder what is in a persons head to design it and almost worse others to pay to have it on their back. The only positive is that they are easily identifiable. Like our Supermarket lady with her face studs and tattooes, she is about fifty now and the big discs in her ears are decidedly droopy as is the tattooed spider on a web. She is very happy, but it's not a peasant sight.

Yes, I think so.
She's a very "girly" girl, too; long blonde hair, very naturally pretty, which seems to make it worse.

It's quite a shock to see Charlie (I think that's the skeletons name) on her the whole of her back.
