Over the festive season we love nothing more than curling up with a good book and a box of mince pie or two. And this year there are some VERY good books indeed. So we asked all the publishers we work with to nominate one of their favourite reads to enjoy this Christmas. And here they all are in one handy list.

Better still - one lucky gransnetter can win the ENTIRE lot. Yup - that's every book featured on the page. Worth more than £500. In our book (no pun intended) that's a pretty fine haul at any time of year - and absolutely perfect for Christmas.

We just want to know where you like reading. Your answers will be put into the very large hat and a draw (made at random) will take place at midday on Weds 10 December - so the winner will receive their prize in plenty of time for the big day. All the details on the page

I love to curl up in a very hot bubble bath, undisturbed, with my book!

Well my most favourite place to read is in a hot bubble bath, my second favourite place is curled up on a comfy sofa in front of an open fire with someone on hand to make me hot chocolate etc but NOT interrupt me!!

Generally I love snuggling up to read a good book on my sofa, in our king sized bed or in the corner of a library or bookshop; but I have often dreamed of owning my own bookshop with an independent coffee/tea shop and nook with arm chairs like those in the Lempsip ad to "try before you buy"! I would call it The Book End and have children's reading groups and mum-to-be and mother's coffee mornings.

On the sofa next to the log burning stove.

We have a really wide staircase, I like to grab a cushion and curl up on the top step! Very random but I find its nice and peaceful with no distractions (no one else hangs out at the top of the stairs)

In bed, V cushion behind me and 2 cats keeping me company. Bliss.

In the summer I love to either read in the summer house at the bottom of the garden with no phone for distraction or on the beach with the sound of the waves.
In the winter I enjoy a lie in of a morning with a book - I fall asleep if I read in bed at night and loose my place!

In the summer I like to read in the conservatory and in the winter I'm curled up on a chair in the living room.

I've always enjoyed reading in the garden but have just moved house and we only have a teeny yard so I may have to find a new favourite place!

I love to read in bed

Fantastic prize. My favourite place is my lovely, comfy armchair in a corner of my dining room, away from the noise of the TV

There's nothing I love better than curling up on the sofa with a good book and an empty house.

I love to get up before the rest of the household, make myself a cuppa and curl up on the recliner that is in my bay window, there I will sit reading for maybe an or two, pure pleasure, oh and the cat is usually curled up with me!!

My favourite place to read is on a window seat, on my landing, which is designed to look like Lord Nelson's cabin. All I need is a cocked hat to complete the illusion. His portrait looks down at me as I nestle amongst velvet cushions. Smug? I should say so!

curled up on the sofa with a hot chocolate x

My favourite place to read? Hmm. I quite enjoy reading on trains, when they're not overcrowded that is. I find it quite relaxing. But for optimum relaxation I like sitting on my sofa or bed with my feet up. Particularly if it's raining outside.

my favourite place to read my books is on the train travelling home to see my grandchildren who I miss so much
