Over the festive season we love nothing more than curling up with a good book and a box of mince pie or two. And this year there are some VERY good books indeed. So we asked all the publishers we work with to nominate one of their favourite reads to enjoy this Christmas. And here they all are in one handy list.

Better still - one lucky gransnetter can win the ENTIRE lot. Yup - that's every book featured on the page. Worth more than £500. In our book (no pun intended) that's a pretty fine haul at any time of year - and absolutely perfect for Christmas.

We just want to know where you like reading. Your answers will be put into the very large hat and a draw (made at random) will take place at midday on Weds 10 December - so the winner will receive their prize in plenty of time for the big day. All the details on the page

Anywhere, a good book makes me forget where i am and even my cup of tea tea grows cold and the glass of wine gets old, the mincepie just sits..on hold.

My favourite place to curl up with a book is on my armchair, with my dog snoozing on my lap, and a cup of tea on the side table next to me. I could be like that for hours.

I like to lie back in a bubble bath and read and relax. It's my only chance at peace and quiet!

Ohh.. so many places to read. Favourite is cuddled up on the sofa with a quilt, hot cup of tea (or coffee) in front of the fireplace.

No doubt about it, my bed. Sitting or wriggling under the covers, with a book in my hand, a drink and (ahem) some sneaky chocky and Im a HappyBunny

The only place I read is in bed. I tried (many years ago) to read in the bath, and dropped a favourite book in there...never again!

I love to curl up in bed with a good book and my dogs curled up beside me. That way I am comfortable and stay warm

My favourite place is in bed. I have no other half so I take over the whole bed. I use pillows to support the book then the book sleeps alongside me. :-)

The best place is in bed on a cold winters evening

Anywhere will do. Reading on a train can be a joy. Getting immersed in the book and then looking up and seeing the people all around and the landscape whizzing past, then returning to the world of the book.

Definitely curled up in bed, cup of coffee to hand and I can read for hours. Transporting me to a different world it is blissful.......

I love reading in bed. I can't wait to go to bed most nights so I can get reading. Ialways have a couple of spare books on the bedside cabinet so I never run out of reading material. My favourite time is in the morning when my husband has brought me a cup of tea and I can read and drink tea. Fabulous!

I have what was sold to me as 'a ladies chair' tucked into a corner of my dining room.

It's getting old now and needs recovering but is very comfortable. It's main advantage is its position. Unless you are really looking for me I can't be seen. There is a window cill one side and a dresser the other - plenty of space to keep books and cups of coffee.

The only thing to distract me from my book is the view into the garden, but the weeds will always wait another day.

In the Summer after a day working in the garden I love to sit outside and read. In the Winter my favourite place is curled up on the sofa next to the log burner.

gosh, where to start!

Have a lovely comfy chair in the bedroom if I want to read alone or with grandchildren.

Also like to read when cosy in bed.

Frequently read in sitting room with husband - quiet and peaceful.

Guess the favourite has to be introducing grandchildren to books and sharing with them.

I love to read snuggled up in bed before I go to sleep.
