My favourite thing about summer is having all the windows open in my house and when I'm lying in bed at night I can feel that slight breeze blowing over me - it feels like you're abroad

My favourite thing about summer is saying goodbye to the children at the preschool where I teach, knowing that I have helped them to become the happy and confident youngsters they are, ready to begin their school days in September.

I love summer because
Sunshine spreads happiness and warms our hearts
Under the heat of summer sun and azure skies
Memories to make with 2yr oldSophie, happy and well
Muddy puddles from summer showers!
Evening strolls along the beach late at night
Remembering my childhood when days were so long

I love that my favourite fruits are in season, and I love that eating salads doesn't feel like a chore this time of year. And though I'm careful about sun exposure I also love feeling the sun on my skin, there are few things more life-affirming than that!
