Hello to you lot. I have been uploading images of a our lovely weekend with family in Oakham. It was enormous fun. All the "grown up" grandchildren made the journey from London, Bristol and Gosport. It was a huge surprise to enter a very quiet room and be greeted with woops of laughter,
From that moment thereon, we didn't stop blethering. Wee man stole the limelight. He was the tops. His sunny dispostion was heart warming. We were treated like royality and had lots of treats during our stay. We missed Gen. I've spoken with her and have forwarded some pics of wee man.
The weather was lousy during our travels. However, it was fine over the weekend and we sat outside well into the evening. By the time we reached the Rest and be Thankful, the worst of the rain and wind was behind us. In fact the sun shone. It was good to reach home...just short of 900 miles of motoring takes its toll on the creaky joints! Mr soop was amazing...as usual.
I haven't yet caught up with all the happenings since last week. I promise to do so...once I've emptied the washing machine and attended to a few pressing jobs around the house.
Believe me, I have missed you.
I would like to meet here someone from eastern Europe
Times article claim that Waspi women are tone deaf and should read the room

- what is it about new cars. My son in law's new BMW broke down in the middle of Wales yesterday on the way to their holiday (in the rain). All the electrics went so they couldn't retrieve the luggage from the boot for 5 hours - gc's aged 1 and 2 ran riot in the garage until it was fixed
