DH pointed out from the Court Circular in Daily Telegraph, that the Queen attended divine service at Crathie Church on Sunday. "The sermon was preached by the Rev David Cameron" !!!
Was he moonlighting? Doen' she see him enough at audiences at Buck House?
Have you had other experiences of names popping up in unusual places?

We have an unusual surname which used to make people laugh in disbelief when I was a volunteer events co ordinator for a dog charity. I remember ringing our local council to book a flag day for April 1st not a problem until I mentioned the dog charity and my surname. I heard a lot of laughter at the other end of the line and then they hung up on me. When I rang back and explained that I really was Mrs X they were full of apologies as they thought it was another member of staff playing a joke.

When I was teaching I had twins in my class called Albert and Victoria Hall but you probably had to be an old fogie like me to find it amusing.
Usually only first names were called out when taking a register but at the beginning of a new module I liked to call out the surname as well because it helped me remember who was who. I had to supress a giggle when I read down the list and realised that Jonathan Lester was followed by Suzanne Piggott grin
