Very skilled piece of painting though - impressive.

It was well done but I'm not sure I like how it depicts Jesus [and I'm not a Christian].

I'm an atheist, but I do try not to offend believers and I'm pretty sure this will offend some Christians. Can you imagine the uproar if this was a depiction of Mohammed, or another diety?

Some Hindu (for instance) depictions of gods are far weirder than that. Nobody takes offence even if they don't 'like' them.

I thought it reminded me of Dali's Christ on the Cross so I googled it and found that the whole series 'Private Life of a Masterpiece' is on utube . I've wanted to rewatch that for ages.

If nothing else it's a darn sight better painting than the Banksy ones.
